Key points
英语中十二月份的缩写
一般是单词的前三个字母,只有9月是前4个，具体如下:
1月 January—Jan.　 2月 February—Feb.　
3月 March—Mar.　 4月 April—Apr.
5月 May不需缩写　 6月 June—Jun.　
7月 July—Jul.　 8月 August—Aug.　
9月 September—Sept.　10月 October—Oct.　
11月 November—Nov.　12月 December—Dec.
【注意】缩写时第一个字母一定要大写,后面得有个点。

1.(句子主语为第一、第三人称单数)
am,is的过去式 →was
否定式→was not 或 wasn't
2.(句子主语为第二人称或第一、二、三人称复数)
are的过去式→were

【注意】be动词的过去式用法与am、is、are在各种句式中的用法一致

◆be born 意为“出生，出世”。当说明某人的出生情况时，通常用一般过去时was born 或were born.
