What does he look like 他长什么样
1.look like意为“看起来像”,常用来询问某人的外貌。
其结构为“What + do/does +主语+look like ”。
e.g. What does his mother look like
他妈妈长什么样
Language points
2.be like意为“像……一样”,侧重于指品德或相貌等像某人(指人的个性特征)。 如果是询问人的性格或人品,多用句型“What be (am/is/are)...like ”。
e.g. — What is he like 他是个怎样的人
— He is friendly and kind. 他友好善良。
— What is John like 约翰是个什么样的人
— He is shy.他是个害羞的人。
Language points
She is of medium height, and she has long straight hair.她中等个子,留着长直发。
描述人的身高和胖瘦用“be+形容词”的结构;
描述人的头发用“have/has +发型”的结构。
注意:hair是不可数名词。
