He is of medium build. 他中等身材。
He is of medium build / height.= He has a medium build/height.两个句子意思一样,但侧重点不同。
Language points
1.“be + of + 名词”结构表示“人或事物的特点,性质”,
相当于“be + 表示人物或者事物特点性质的形容词”。
e.g. It is of great importance for us = It is important for us.
它对于我们来很重要。
2.He has a medium build/height.
表示他有中等身材或身高,侧重于现状。
