【人与社会·人际交往】(2023四川泸州中考改编)
Two years ago, I was sitting in my car waiting in a long line for a toll(通行费) station. When I finally reached the station, the toll station worker told me that the person in front of me had paid for me and I was free to go. I was so shocked. I didn’t need to save the 5 dollars. I would never know who he was. I was tired of the heavy traffic and the long line, and that behavior was surprising and unbelievable, which really touched my heart. So I decided to pay for the next car waiting in line.
The first time I tried to pay forward the toll, I kept looking into my rear view mirror(后视镜) to see who I’d be paying for. In the mirror, I saw a tired-looking taxi driver. And I felt satisfied that my money would be going to a good place. But before we got to the toll station, the taxi driver had suddenly changed his way and now there was someone else behind me. She looked upset and was gesturing(举止) angrily in a conversation with her friend. I wasn’t willing to pay for a woman like that and was certainly judging her by what I has seen in the mirror. Anyway, I paid the toll for both of us and left.
Thirty seconds later I was surprised to hear a honk(鸣笛声). It was the woman and her friend waving at me from the other way! She looked cheerful and happy. She wasn’t what I thought she was like. This was a valuable lesson that I shouldn’t judge people so quickly...After all, I don’t know their stories.
24.Who paid for the author
A.A caring stranger.
B.A close friend.
C.A disappointed woman.
D.A toll station worker.
25.Why did the author pay forward the toll
A.He didn’t need to save the money.
B.He wanted to pass on the kindness.
C.He was satisfied with the taxi driver.
D.He made a mistake because of the tiredness.
26.What’s possibly the best title for the passage
A.An unbelievable behavior
B.An unforgettable experience
C.Misjudgment in the mirror
D.Payment at the toll station

【人与自我·勤于反思】(2022北京房山期中改编)
阅读短文,根据短文内容回答问题。
I’d like to share a little story with you about something that happened when I was four. I remember it clearly. Our loving family dog was nearing the end of his life. My father picked him up and put him in a little bed we had made for him. Our dog, my friend, whom we had cared for, bit(咬) my father when he tried to help him. How could he Why I couldn’t understand it. I didn’t like him anymore.
I hadn’t thought about that story for a long time, but something that happened last week brought it back to me. I went to visit a friend of mine. When I knocked on the door, I met an angry look and a few unkind words. When the door was slammed(砰地关上), I stood there shocked, and suddenly, I was reminded of my dog. The same feeling of hurt brought that story back.
Both stories taught me something the next day. When I got up in the morning and was told my dog had died, it became clear to me that he must have been in great pain. Much the same for the other story when I learned that my friend had just lost his job the day before.
We are all living in our environments, our opinions and feelings. And all of those things can cause you to say and do things that can’t be understood by those who are not in the same situation with you.
If you meet someone either behaving out of character or acting in a way that doesn’t seem to fit the situation, put out your hand and be patient. Maybe he or she was in great trouble at that time. You may turn around a story that has a sad ending simply by your actions.

题目①
A special experience
Last year, I had a very special experience. My classmates and I went to a farm in a university to learn something about agriculture.
As soon as I arrived there, I felt very excited that I would spend six days living together with some of my classmates. Thus, we could share our “secrets” lying in bed at night. The most special experience was digging peanuts in the field. In the beginning, I used the tool. However, I soon found it much easier to use my hands. Though my hands hurt a lot, the peanuts couldn’t have tasted better.
As a kid born and raised in the big city, I seldom have the opportunity to do real farm work. Thanks to the agricultural education, I had this very special experience. I’ve learnt how tiring and difficult farm work is and I promise I will finish all the food in my bowl.
题目②
My Most Unforgettable Experience
I had an unforgettable experience.
On a rainy day, I suddenly fell down in the school playground and hurt my leg. I had to stay in hospital for a month. I felt upset and I was worried about my study. Luckily, my classmate Li Hua came to see me in the hospital as soon as she heard I was injured. She decided to help me with my study. From then on, she came to teach me every weekend. I was so moved. I didn’t fall behind other classmates with Li Hua’s help. I thanked her a lot.
Now I know that true friends will always help you. When our friends are in trouble, we should help them.
