知识梳理
1. A girl comes up to Brian’s table.
come up to 意为（为攀谈而）走到跟前；走近。
come up to 中的to可以省略，单独使用come up时,
表示“走近；靠近”，尤指为了和某人说话。
Eg: My mother came up to me and helped me.
One of the teachers came up and started talking to me.
2. What is it for
“What…for ”是在不理解对方的动机或询问对方的目的
和用意时的常用语，相当于“Why”,意为“为何目的，为何
理由”，常用because引导的句子或to 引导的短语来作答。
Eg:—What do you want a knife for
—To cut the apples.
—Why do you want a knife
—Because I want to cut the apples.
3. You can do your homework while you ride your bike.
while在句中引导时间状语从句，
意为“当……时候；在……期间”，
表示同时进行的两个延续性动作相伴随发生。
Eg: While my sister was doing homework, I was watching TV.
4. afford 买得起；
常与 can, could, be able to 连用，后接名词，代词或动词不定式。
Eg: I can’t afford (to buy) a new house.
5. That’s a very low price for such a great product!
price意为“价格，价钱”，at a very low price意为
“以很低的价格”。表示价格的高低要用high或low,
不能用cheap或expensive。
Eg: He bought a bike at a very low price.
The price of houses is high at present.
at a/the price of意为“以……价格”。
Eg: He bought a new car at the price of 100 000 yuan.
询问物品价格时要用
“What's the price of… ”或“How much… ”。

It’s Thursday. Brian and Danny are selling things to raise money
for the school basketball team. A girl comes up to Brian’s table.
Girl： How much are the cookies？
Brian：They’re cheap！You can buy four for only one dollar.
Girl： Great. I’ll take four，please.

Danny：It’s only five dollars. That’s a very low price for such a great product！
