My friend and I decided that we would record a short dance together. It all started when she saw a dance video online and was attracted by it.
Learning the steps did not take long. Both of us were somewhat experienced in dance. But the actual recording was quite painful. Two weeks after our decision, I arrived at her dance room, well-rested and ready to go. Our first problem quickly arose. I found that we had different ways to learn. My friend memorized the moves according to the lyrics, but I memorized them according to the eight-counts. Then I made a compromise (妥协).
After that, we set up our recording equipment, and began three hours of hard work. Our second problem was my fault. Throughout the recording, I kept on doing poor spins ( 旋 转 ) that landed me too far from my friend. Sometimes I would also accidentally hit my friend on the head.
We ended up not being satisfied with the recording. I wonder if this is the same feeling that professional dancers feel after some performances.
