Elephants are the biggest living animals on land. They have a heavy body and weigh 5 tons at most. They have a long trunk and large ears like fans.
Elephants eat a lot because of their large bodies. They live mainly on grass and leaves. Sometimes they also eat meat.
Although elephants have the largest body, they can do many amazing things. For example, they can even walk on tiptoe. They can move quietly on the land.
Elephants live as a family. They like to work as a group. Usually, female elephants act as a leader and lead the elephant family to look for food or water.
