Words can be divided into syllables.
A word may have one, two, three or more syllables.

定义：音节是最小的发音单位，是读音的基本单位，任何单词的读音，都是分解为一个个音节来朗读的。
构成：一个元音音素
一个元音音素与一个或几个辅音
音节的定义及构成
音节的个数由元音音素的个数决定。
即：有几个元音音素就有几个音节。
单音节词(1个元音音素)

音节划分方法
1. 用“—”划出元音音素
2. 用“ ”划分辅音音素
3.辅音因素划分遵循：一靠后

1．当两个元音字母中间只有一个辅音字母
时，这个辅音字母通常划入右边的音节。
eg：
stu／dent，o／pen，pa／per
2．二分家： 如果两个元音字母中间有两个
辅音字母，通常这两个辅音字母分别划入
左右两个音节。
eg：mem／ber，les／son，col／lect，shal／
low，dis／tant
3．加前缀或后缀时，前缀或后缀单独划为
一个或一个以上的音节，不影响其他
音节的划分。
eg：
dis／like，be／head，in／ac／tive，
paint／er，poss／i／ble，fall／ing，
定义：单词中发音特别响亮的音节。
重读音节
重音符号为 '，标注在重读音节前左上方。
次重读符号,，标注在重读音节前左下方。
单音节都重读，但不标出重读符号。
