Therefore,as a result,in short,to sum up,to conclude,in a word,all in all,in conclusion等词语。

Cui Qingtao, a student from Yunnan, was working with his parents on a building site when he got an admission letter (录取通知书)from Peking University. 11 She is a student from Hebei. She was doing her part-time job in another city when her family got her admission letter from Peking University.
12 For example, they are all strong and optimistic(乐观的). Li Enhui said in an interview, “As long as we are alive, there are no problems that cannot be solved, and many people don’t have my experiences. 13 ” Such an idea makes many adults feel embarrassed. He refused to accept money that was given by others and decided to make money by himself. This is also the common thing that “poor students” have.

Brainstorming is the practice of coming up with ideas or solutions. 16 But we do have some rules to follow for successful brainstorming.
Focus on quantity over quality(质量). When it comes to brainstorming, the more ideas, the better. Don’t worry about the quality of your ideas for now. 17 Remember that your goal is to come up with as many ideas as possible. Even if none of them are perfect, you’ll still have many creative ideas to use for your final plan.
Encourage big or unusual ideas. 18 Although unusual ideas may not be immediately practical, just creating those ideas gives your brain training. It can also help to produce creative solutions that are hard to come up with.
19 Don’t say no to the ideas of others. You can put together the best parts of different ideas to create new, even better ones. Even if you’re not brainstorming as a group, you should still think about sharing your ideas with others and asking them for their advice.
You don’t have to regard yourself as a very creative person to come up with excellent ideas and solutions at once. Brainstorming can help unlock ideas. Even if you don’t find the perfect solution, just practicing it can help to improve your creativity. 20
A.Share ideas with each other.
B.Put these tips together and you are sure to come up with some great ideas.
C.There’s no correct way to brainstorm.
D.Just say or write any idea that comes to mind.
E.Don’t give up your ideas, no matter how strange they seem to be.

When we talk about numbers, have you noticed how we naturally think of the number three
21 If you are a close observer of life, you should have found that this number is all around us. Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end. We eat three meals a day. Traffic lights all over the world use three colors: red, yellow and green. Things can always become more satisfying to readers if they come in threes. Have you ever noticed how powerful brands use the rule of three to improve their marketing For example, “Just do it ”, “I’m loving it ” and “Coke is it ”, 22
But what is it about the number three that makes it so magical Well, we know that
the human brain is very hard to be understood. However, it enjoys thinking in patterns (规律). It is always trying to find structure in unrelated information. 23 And three is the smallest number needed to form a pattern. As the old saying goes, “Once is luck, twice is coincidence(巧合) and three times is a pattern.” 24 The audience will usually only remember three things from a speech. Do you want something in your speech to stick in your audiences’minds Put it forward to them in groups of three.
If we properly use the rule of three in our daily lives, we can make many things easier. For example, many people like to add lots of tasks to their to-do lists. Experts, however, suggest they should limit themselves to just three tasks. 25 And the next time you are making New Year’s resolutions, consider listing only three things to work on. The longer your list is, the less likely you are to keep it!
A.These top three tasks should be hard enough to be challenging.
B.In some ways, “three” is a number that has magical powers.

How do you read a novel Do you feel that there are so many new words that it almost drives you crazy 31 I used to have these annoying problems until this term, when my English teacher taught us how to read novels.
Reading an English novel is hard for high school students. 32 I didn’t use the dictionary, but read on to the next sentence first. Then I went back to the word I didn’t understand and tried to guess its meaning. Although I did not know the exact meaning of the word, I could understand the meaning of the whole sentence.
Moreover, I formed my own understanding of the story. 33 In addition, to improve our writing skills, we should learn how famous writers write so vividly. 34 Above all, learning new words and writing skills requires that we read a lot.

Therefore,as a result,in short,to sum up,to conclude,in a word,all in all,in conclusion等词语。

(2022上·广东广州·九年级广州市番禺区大龙中学校考期末)We’ve heard about several “poor students” in the past year.
Such personalities(品格)are important for growth. 14 Not everything goes well all the time. A man can go through difficulties only when he is strong and optimistic. In fact, living in poor families doesn’t promise such good personalities, and living happily doesn’t mean optimistic attitudes(态度). We like such “poor students” because they are strong and optimistic. Few of them can choose their lifestyles. 15 That’s why they are highly praised. Every one of us should learn from them.
A.Life is full of ups and downs.
B.A girl named Wang Xinyi is another example.

C.What’s more, if there are no patterns, our brains will create them.
D.These famous slogans(标语)are all three words long.
