(1) 在动词词尾直接加s。如:want—wants, work—works, know—knows。
(2)以s,x, ch, sh或“辅音字母+o”结尾的动词,在词尾加 es。如:guess—guesses, fix—fixes, teach—teaches, push—pushes, go—goes。

②以“元音字母+y”结尾的动词,直接在词尾加s。如:play—plays。
(4)特殊变化。如:have—has。
