课标分析 What: Through character dialogues, explain the functions of new technological inventions and their impact on people's lives. Why: Through Tony's conversation with his father, stimulate students' desire to invent and create. How: In the form of dialogue, mainly use the passive voice pattern of the general future tense to discuss inventions and creations.
教材分析 The topic is about some great inventions. And these inventions brought some changes in our life. Unit 2 is about some inventions like paper, printing and the Internet, and it is also about how these great inventions have changed people’s life. Besides, it is to train students’ reading skills.
学情分析 Inventions and creations are both mysterious and attractive to middle school students. Students are very interested in the topic of digital technology in this unit, and on the basis of learning the passive voice of the simple present tense and the simple past tense in the previous two modules, they will continue to learn the passive voice of the simple future tense with little difficulty.
教学目标 1.语言能力:To learn more information about three inventions: paper, printing and the Internet.To summarize the advantages and disadvantages of books and the Internet. 2.思维品质:Get the structure of the passage. 3.学习能力:Improving the reading skill,Have a debate about “Will books be replaced by the Internet ” 4.文化意识: Improve the awareness of the traditional great inventions and the new technology.
