The origin of table tennis
Table tennis is originated from the United Kingdomin the late 19th century.
In 1904, a shanghai shop keep called Wang Dao WU, brought 10 sets of table tennis tools home, and the games was then introduced to china. But we didn’t make achievements until the People’s Republic of China was founded.

The development of Chinese table tennis
In 1935, the first national table tennis game had been launched.
In 1959, a competitor named Rong Guotuang took the first word champion.
In 2008, we swept all the gold medals. So far, the total number of world champion that Chinese table tennis team made has been over 100.
1. Table tennis is good for your health - it's great for getting up a sweat and getting the heart rate up.
2. It's easy on the body. You can play ping-pong according to your own capabilities and limitations, and still be competitive.
3. Everyone can play, There's no age or gender barriers.
4. Table tennis is a lifelong sport, that can be played competitively right up to your eighties and beyond. It‘s never too late to start.

B: The seventh of May. The matches up to the semi-finals will be played
between the fourteenth of May and the thirtieth of June.
G: What about the finals
B: They’re on the sixth of July.
G: What time do they start
B: Well, the Men’s final starts at one forty-five, and the Women’s final
starts at two thirty. We’ll have the Boys’ final at twelve noon, and the
Girls’ final at one. Anything else
G: I think you should give a phone number because some people may

B: Good idea! They can call Maggie Zhu on two eight six, two three

Announcer: Now for the results of the matches. In the Boys’ semi-finals, Alex beat John by eleven nine in the first set, and by eleven eight in the second set. In the other semi-final, Mark beat Raymond by eleven three and eleven eight. Mark went on to beat Alex. The next day， they put on their ski suits and gloves， took their skis and went outside onto the snow. Suddenly， Vanessa found herself could not walk.
