课标分析 The topic of this module belongs to the category of "people and society", involving "rule awareness, traffic regulations, safety awareness". The content mainly includes the environmental protection regulations and safety precautions of tourist places, which has certain educational significance. The grammar of this module is to review modal verbs, teachers should make good use of the context in the textbook, inspire students to understand the meaning of modal verbs, and then summarize some common uses.
教材分析 This module takes "Rules and suggestions" as the topic, and uses Teacher Jackson to remind children to pay attention to mountain climbing safety rules and remember safety suggestions to carry out the entire unit of learning. The third unit of this module mainly reviews and elevates the first two units. Therefore, in the last lesson, I will review and consolidate through the form of topics, combined with the fill in the blank questions in the middle school entrance examination. In teaching, teachers should grasp the topic of "safety" and make students not only pay attention to various potential dangers in life, but more importantly, how to self rescue and mutual rescue while avoiding danger.
学情分析 Students in our school have been on many excursions and study Tours, so they have a strong awareness of the rules, which is helpful to the learning and understanding of this lesson. However, students may have a single sentence pattern in expression, and there will be difficulties in capturing key information in listening.
教学目标 语言能力:Be able to use modal verbs correctly in specific contexts to express content related to the topic. 2.思维品质:Can actively cooperate with others and help each other complete learning tasks in group activities 3.学习能力:Be able to correctly write English sentences that grant permission and express prohibition according to the content requirements in writing; Can correctly write vocabulary in context 4.文化意识: Through learning, cultivate students' awareness of safety and self-protection during travel.

教学程序 Step 1 Lead-in Let students look at some pictures,and ask them to answer the questions. Must we obey the traffic rules Must we obey the school rules What do you think of their behaviors Have you ever made such kind of paper by hand 【设计意图】通过提问的方式让学生自由讨论,既能活跃课堂气氛,也能让学生比较迅速地进入到课堂状态中,调动他们的学习积极性,为下一个活动做准备。 Step 2 Language practice 1.Let students pay attention to the following sentences. (1)You must be careful of falling stones. (2)You mustn't walk too close to the edge of the hill path because you might fall and hurt yourselves. (3)You should always wear proper clothes. (4)Bears might think our rubbish is food. (5)—Can we go rock climbing —No,you can't. 2.Read through the example sentences in the box with the whole class. 3.Ask the students to repeat the sentences in the box. 【设计意图】让学生感知并熟悉情态动词的用法,朗读并重复句子既锻炼了学生的口语表达能力,也使他们进一步熟悉了本课的目标语言。 Step 3 Grammar practice 1.Match the signs with the rules and warnings.(Activity 1) (The teacher prepares some signs ahead of time.Before the students doing Activity 1,the teacher shows the signs to the class and asks the students to talk about them.Then the students can know more signs.) T:When we walk along the street,we can often see some signs to tell us what to do or not to do.Now please turn to Page 30 and look at the signs in Activity 1.Then match the signs with the rules. (After a while,the teacher asks the students to read the rules one by one.) The answers:1.c 2.b 3.d 4.e 5.f 6.a 2.Read the list of rules and write sentences using must,mustn't,should or shouldn't.(Activity 2) T:Now we know what the signs mean and we should try to remember the signs.When we see the signs,we will know what we can do or not.Now read the list of rules to all climbers in Activity 2.The rules come from a climbing centre.The rules tell all the climbers what they must do or what they mustn't do,and what they should do or what they shouldn't do.Read carefully and write sentences according to the model. (When the students finish the sentences,the teacher asks the students to read their sentences.) 3.Ask students to explain why the rules in Activity 2 are important in pairs.(Activity 3) 4.Complete the passage with the correct form of the words in the box.(Activity 4) (1)Let students read the passage carefully. T:We know that our environment isn't good.And pollution has been a great problem in China.Many people are doing something they can do to protect the environment.Now read the passage in Activity 6 in which there are some children doing something useful.Read it fast and answer the four questions above the passage. (Ask the students to read the passage and answer the questions.And then check the answers with the whole class.What's more,it is important to tell the students to protect the environment.) 2.Around the world T:After reading the passage,we know that it's very important to protect the environment.As a student,it's our duty to try our best to make our school clean and make it become a green school.If you are a tourist,what should you do to protect the environment Let's read another passage “Ecotourism” in “Around the world”. (Give the students two minutes to read the passage.When the students are doing the job,the teacher can go around the class to see if there is someone who needs help.) (two minutes later) T:OK! No one asks me questions.I think it's easy for you to understand.Now,please tell me together what ecotourism means. Ss:It means that you can visit places without damaging the environment.
