期末语法总复习 Unit 4 讲义——形容词、副词最高级 1. 形容词/副词原形变成比较级和最高级的规则变化
（1）单音节词在词尾变成比较级加 或变成最高级加 ;
例如：cheap-cheaper/cheapest, warm- , young- , high-
（2）以 e 结尾的词，只需加 或 ;
fine- , nice- , safe-
（3）以辅音字母加 结尾双音节词变 为 加 -er 或 -est;
happy- ,busy- ,easy- , lazy- ,
（4）以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母， 该辅音字母再加 或 ；
fat- ,hot- ,thin- , wet- , sad-
（5）少数以 , 结尾的双音节词加-er 或-est；
narrow- , yellow- , clever-
(6) 部分双音节和多音节词在原级前加 或 ;
quickly- , slowly- ,useful- ,
careful- , popular- , modern- .
(7) 不规则变化:

2.形容词和副词的最高级的用法
(1)形容词的最高级前一般要加定冠词 , 但如果其前有形容词性物主代词或名词所有格等修饰语时,
则 用定冠词 the 。副词的最高级前面可以加定冠词 the, 也可以 。
This book is most interesting one.
Her (最年轻的) daughter is eleven years old.
(2) 形容词和副词的最高级常与介词 或 短语连用, 说明比较的范围。如果主语与介词短语中的名
词属于同一类, 用介词 ; 如果不是同一类, 则用介词 。
如：Tina is the most outgoing her family./Jim jumps (the) highest __ all the boys.
(3) 含有形容词副词最高级的句型
1.主语 + be + the + 形容词最高级 + of/in 短语 意为 “ … …是 … … 中最 … … 的。”
2.主语 + 实义动词 （ + the ）+ 副词最高级 + of/in 短语 意为 “ … … 是做 … … 中最 … … 的。”
3.主语+ be + one of the +形容词最高级+可数名词复数+ of/in 短语 “ … …是 … … 中最 … … 的 … …之一。”
4. 疑问词 +助动词+主语+ 动词原形（ + the）+副词最高级，A , B or C？ “A , B 和 C 中，哪个最 … … ？
5. 主语+be + the + 序数词 +形容词最高级 + 可数名词单数.表示“ … …是第几...... 的......”。
