Despite the growing awareness of healthy living, some concerning phenomena are still common. For example, some people are neglecting their physical health by overeating fast food and rarely engaging in sports, while others spend too much time on electronic devices.
To achieve a healthy lifestyle, we should guarantee various nutrients in our meals. Besides, engaging in simple sports regularly can be beneficial. Last but not least, it is strongly advised to establish daily screen time limits, which can improve our mental health.

Dad met my gaze with a thoughtful expression before finally breaking into a nod. “Sure,” he said, “Playing in college and coaching that youth team were some of the best times of my life. As I scanned the audience, I spotted my dad. He was clapping, wearing a proud smile on his face. It was the same smile I had seen in old photos of him playing basketball. After the game, he enveloped me in a warm, tight embrace. “You did well, both on the court and in balancing your responsibilities. I’m proud of you.” As we strolled back home, it dawned on me that basketball had done more than just win me a game. It had bridged a generational gap, promoting mutual understanding between dad and me.

W: Yesterday, three-year-old Teddy Lasry was sleeping at his family’s apartment when a three-foot-long black-and-white snake appeared on his left arm and bit his finger.
“The babysitter was terrified,” said Teddy’s father, David Lasry. He and his wife, Evelyn, were at work when the snake showed up around 4:00 p.m.
The babysitter Mary called 911 and the building’s doorkeeper. The doorkeeper and two cable TV workers helped take the snake off Teddy’s arm and put it in a garbage bag.
Police rushed Teddy to Mount Sinai Medical Center, where his parents said he was attached to a heart monitor for two hours in case the snake was poisonous.
Experts at the snakebite treatment center at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, where police took the snake, determined it was a non-poisonous California king snake.
After a thorough investigation, police determined that the snake had escaped two weeks ago from its cage in the apartment of a doctor whose family lives four floors below the Lasrys’. The apologetic owner said his son’s pet snake likely traveled up the pipes and into his neighbor’s apartment. David Lasry, a fine arts publisher, said he believed the pet was simply hungry after two weeks of cruising.
