◎用法总结:
1.not...until...意为“直到……才……”,表示句子(主句)的动作直到until所表示的时间才开始发生,句子(主句)的谓语动词常用非延续性动词。如:
I didn’t go to bed until I finished my homework last night.
昨晚我直到完成作业才去睡觉。
2.until/till...意为“直到……”,表示句子(主句)的动作延续到until/till所表示的时间才结束,句子(主句)谓语动词常用延续性动词。如:
My father waited for me until 10 o’clock last night.
我父亲等我等到昨天夜里10点。
3.finish意为“完成,结束”,作动词时后跟名词、代词、动名词。如:
The teacher asks the students to finish reading this book in one week.老师要求学生们一周后读完这本书。
