Dragon Boat Races
划龙舟，又称扒龙舟，是端午节一项重要习俗活动，历史悠久，是多人集体扒桨竞赛。春秋战国时期，划龙舟盛行于吴国、越国、楚国 ，后来在我国南方沿海一带也十分流行，传出国外后深受各国人民的喜爱并形成了国际比赛。扒龙舟主要有两种形式，一是划龙船，叫做“趁景”。只表演技巧，不排名次，轮流在各乡举行，从五月初一至五月二十，几乎天天有“景”（龙船景）；另一种形式是斗龙船，比赛夺标，又叫“斗标”。龙舟不仅仅传承了中国传统文化，还蕴含着团结、拼搏、进取的体育精神和理念。目前，划龙舟的起源有江浙地区的吴越民系和湖南西北部沅陵两种说法。
