教学目标
1.语言技能
（1）能够在教师的引导、图片的帮助下，理解对话大意，在语境中理解新单词的含义，并正确发音：special, April Fool’s Day, April 1st, April 5th.
（2）能够完成听力任务，正确选择“张鹏与Mr Jones正在谈论的月份”。
（3）能够在恰当的情景中运用句型：When is … It’s on …询问某个活动在哪一天举行。
（4）能够知道课本中四个活动的具体日期，并正确连线。
2.语言知识
（1）能在具体的语境中理解和运用有关“活动的举行时间”的语言表达形式。
3.情感态度、学习策略与文化意识
（1）能够积极参与课堂学习活动，表达中不怕出错误，遇到困难大胆求助。

Step 1:warm-up
1．Greeting.师生用英语互相问候。
2．Let’s sing a chant.教师呈现课件，学生吟唱月份歌谣。

Ss：He is running.（学生还没有学过“现在进行时”，所以需要教师引导学生回答。）
（2）Listen and tick.教师播放音频，学生抓住关键信息，选择正确答案并打钩。
Step 2:Presentation
1．Ask and answer.师生进行问答活动。

Ss：It’s in October.
T：When is Children’s Day
Ss：It’s in June.
T：When is New Year’s Day

T：When is April Fool’s Day
Ss：It’s in April.
T：Yes, it’s in April. It’s on April 1st.（教师呈现课件，引导学生学习April 1st.）
2．Look and describe.师生观察课文图片，讨论图片内容，解决special, April Fool’s Day, April 1st, April 5th.等词汇。
T：Who are they
Ss：They are Mr Jones and Zhang Peng.
T：Yes! Now please look at the pictures. It’s April Fool’s Day. It’s on April 1st. When is Easter this year
Ss：It’s on April 5th this year.（学生不懂得表达，教师就引导学生表达。）
3．Watch the video and follow.学生观看录像，并跟读。
4．Read for the video.（学生与视频一起读内容，教师将视频音量调小些，尝试让学生给对话配音。）
Step 3:Practice
1．Talk about the holidays.学生以两人为单位，谈论节日。
（1）Match the holidays.学生根据实际情况，将“代表节日的图画”与具体的日期进行连线。
（2）Ask and answer. 学生以两人为单位，进行问答活动。
