Dear classmates, I’m very happy to share our research with you. Here is some information about it.
The Mid-Autumn Festival has a history of about 2000 years. People celebrate it on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month every year. During that day, we often enjoy the beauty of flowers in the daytime. And when the night falls, a family usually stay together and admire the beautiful full moon. Children like to play with lanterns together. Moon cakes are the special food for this festival.
To let more people around the world know about this traditional festival, our group decides to do something. First, we will tell stories about the Mid-Autumn Festival to our foreign friends. What’s more, we plan to make a short video in English and post it online to introduce it to more people.
That’s all. Thank you!
