The English Festival
There was an English festival in the school playground last week. Let me tell you something about it.
The festival was from January 2nd to 5th. All the students attended it. During this event, two-thirds of the students watched an English movie about the famous inventor Edison. Besides, 30% of the students told traditional Chinese stories in English. They acted out many English plays, such as Mulan and Hongmen Banquet. Also, there was an interesting word quiz. How educational those activities were!
I think more students experienced the fun of English through this festival. What’s more, they had a better understanding of Chinese and western culture.
