What you’re expressing through your body language is as important as what you say. It’s about looking in someone’s eyes, smiling and nodding. Showing with your face that you’re following what someone is saying is really important. This is equally key in virtual conversations on a video chat. Remember that looking into your laptop camera is like making eye contact, while breaking it to look downward makes it appear that you’re doing something else.
19 “People can be considered as poor listeners when they don’t understand what the conversation is actually about on a high level.” Dr. Bobby says. Sometimes, people simply want to talk about an unhappy situation. Maybe they’re really just wanting to express their bad feelings, or talk about their day. So don’t try to give suggestions; just listen instead.

To fully appreciate Australian cuisine, you have to consider the unique nature of its wildlife and geography. For one thing, there are the wide plains in the interior of the country, which are home to millions of grazing animals. For another, there is Australia’s long coastline, which is next to all the riches of the sea. 16. It is no wonder that much of Australian cuisine centres around red meat and seafood.
One of the most popular red meats in Australia is also unique to the continent: kangaroo. This may seem strange as the kangaroo is a national symbol of Australia. However, in recent years, kangaroos have increased in number to around 45 million. These kangaroos wander onto the roads and into cities, making trouble. 17 As a consequence, the government is encouraging people to use these animals as food, and kangaroo has become one of the most popular items on the Australian dinner table. As for seafood, many of the first Europeans who came to Australia loved the sea. 18 Since the coastline is so long, each region has its own dishes that are related to the seafood found in its waters.
But then, how is all this food cooked Perhaps the favourite way of cooking food in Australia is the barbecue. 19 It is a time for friends and relatives to get together and have fun. Even strangers passing through will be offered a seat, a cold drink, and something off the grill.

As an artist who shares her journey on social media, I’m often asked by curious followers how to begin an art journey. Unfortunately, there is no magic list I can offer. I do remember, though, what it was like to be a complete beginner. So I’ve put together some good tips for starting an art journey.
·Start small. I suggest using a sketchbook (素描本) for small studies. These small studies provide inspiration and may be a springboard for more complex works in the future. ___16___ You’ll want to look back on your journey to see how far you’ve come.
·Paint often and paint from life. There’s no better way to improve than to put in those brush miles. Whether you paint still lifes, portraits, or landscapes, paint from life as much as possible. ___17___
·Continually challenge yourself to try something new. ___18___ Artistic growth can be a bit painful. Welcome to the club;we’ve all been there. I love taking on challenges. I once took up a challenge to create a painting every day for a month and post the works online.
·___19___ Seeking and accepting constructive feedback (反馈) is crucial to growth. I post my work on social media and, in turn, have met some of the kindest people. They make me feel valued and respected, no matter my level of artistic ability.
The journey you’re on won’t follow a straight path. ___20___ Push through, give it time and put in the effort. You will harvest the rewards of an artistic life.
A Get out of your comfort zone.
B. Make career plans and set goals.
C. Don’t throw away your beginner art.
D. Share your work if you feel comfortable doing so.
E. You’ll hit roadblocks, and you’ll feel discouraged at times.
F. Evaluate your performance and, if needed, redefine your role.
G. You’ll develop that painting muscle memory that only comes with repetition.
C 17. G 18. A 19. D 20. E
I suggest using a sketchbook (素描本) for small studies. These small studies provide inspiration and may be a springboard for more complex works in the future. (从小开始。我建议使用一个素描本进行小规模的学习和实践。这些小的学习和实践可以提供灵感,并成为未来更复杂的作品的跳板)”以及后文“You’ll want to look back on your journey to see how far you’ve come. (你会想要回顾一下自己的艺术之旅,看看自己已经取得多少进步)”可知,空处应是一个过渡句,从给出建议使用一个素描本进行小规模的学习和实践,到回顾自己的艺术之旅,所以C项“Don’t throw away your beginner art. (不要扔掉你的初学时的艺术作品)”符合文意,和后文形成顺承关系。故选C项。
【17题详解】
分析设空处,位于段尾,是对本段总结,根据前文“Paint often and paint from life. There’s no better way to improve than to put in those brush miles. Whether you paint still lifes, portraits, or landscapes, paint from life as much as possible. (经常作画,且从生活中作画。没有什么比不断练习更能提高你的艺术水平了。无论你是绘制静物、肖像还是风景,都要尽可能地从真实生活中去观察和绘制)”可知,本段主要讲述不断练习绘画,所以G项“You’ll develop that painting muscle memory that only comes with repetition. (你会逐渐形成只有通过反复练习才能获得的绘画肌肉记忆)”是对前文的总结。故选G项。
【18题详解】
分析设空处,空处位于第二句,此处应是对前一句的进一步解释,并同时引出后文,根据前文“Continually challenge yourself to try something new. (不断挑战自己,尝试新事物)”以及后文“Artistic growth can be a bit painful. (艺术的成长可能会有点痛苦)”可知,A项“Get out of your comfort zone. (走出你的舒适区)”是对前句的进一步说明,和后文构成顺承关系。故选A项。
分析设空处,位于段首,是本段的中心句,根据后文“Seeking and accepting constructive feedback (反馈) is crucial to growth. I post my work on social media and, in turn, have met some of the kindest people. They make me feel valued and respected, no matter my level of artistic ability. (寻求并接受有建设性的反馈对于你的成长非常重要。我在社交媒体上发布我的作品,并因此结识了一些最友好的人。无论我的艺术水平如何,他们都让我感到受到了重视和尊重)”可知,本段主要讲述了是分享自己的作品,所以D项“Share your work if you feel comfortable doing so. (如果你感觉舒适的话,分享你的作品)”符合文意,是本段的中心句。故选D项。

You will harvest the rewards of an artistic life. 你将收获艺术生活的回报)”可知,E项“You’ll hit roadblocks, and you’ll feel discouraged at times.

With gas prices rising and airport security lines snaking longer than ever, why not book your next domestic vacation on a train Compared to other alternatives, it’s comfortable and relaxing. Here is some advice on how to make a trip by rail as pleasant as possible.
Plan ahead. Most long-distance trains, especially the sleeping car accommodations, sell out very quickly. 36 But no matter when you travel, it’s a good idea to make your reservations at least 90 days in advance.
Use a travel agent. Consider turning your travel plan over to a travel agent and letting him double-check all the details, make suggestions, and then handle the actual reservations. A good one can sometimes find you discounted tickets. 37 Then you won’t have to walk through several cars on a moving train three times a day for your meals.
Bring a blanket. When you’re riding on trains, you won’t be provided with a blanket for free, even if your trip is an overnight one. 38 In the summer in particular, the air conditioning can make them quite cold.
Arrive early. Most trains operate just once a day and some run only three times a week, so missing yours can be a disaster. 39 Note: The times listed on the schedules are departure times, not arrival times.
Have fun. 40 Read a book, knit, do a crossword puzzle, or simply watch the world unfold outside the window. To calculate your speed as you do, divide 3,600(the number of seconds in an hour)by the number of seconds it takes you to travel one mile(the distance between two mileposts). If it takes the train 53 seconds to travel one mile, you’re going 67.92 mph.
A.Train trips aren’t for impatient types.
B.You’ll have views from both sides of the train.
C.The temperature on rail cars is often hard to control.
D.That’s particularly true during busy summer months.
E.You might have to wait longer than 24 hours to catch the next one.
F.Chances are the cost will be a lot less than the cost of one bedroom.
G.He may also book you in a sleeping car that’s right next to the diner.
【答案】36.D 37.G 38.C 39.E 40.A
Most long-distance trains, especially the sleeping car accommodations, sell out very quickly.(提前计划。大多数长途火车,尤其是卧铺,很快就卖光了。)”以及下文“But no matter when you travel, it’s a good idea to make your reservations at least 90 days in advance. (但无论你什么时候去旅行,最好至少提前90天预订。)”可知,大多数长途火车的卧铺很容易被定完,所以要提前安排预定,D项“在繁忙的夏季尤其如此。”符合语境,D项中“busy summer months”与前后文呼应,说明忙碌的夏季尤其需要提前计划。故选D项。
根据上文“A good one can sometimes find you discounted tickets. (一个好的旅行社有时可以帮你找到打折的票。)”以及下文“Then you won’t have to walk through several cars on a moving train three times a day for your meals. (特别是在夏天,空调会让他们很冷。)”可知,这里提到了车厢内温度的问题,提醒乘客最好自备毛毯,C项中“The temperature on rail cars”与前后文对应,因此推断C项“列车上的温度通常很难控制。”符合语境。故选C项。
根据上文“Most trains operate just once a day and some run only three times a week, so missing yours can be a disaster.(大多数火车每天只开一趟,有些火车一周只开三趟,所以错过你的火车可能是一场灾难。)”以及下文“Note: The times listed on the schedules are departure times, not arrival times. (注意:时刻表上列出的时间是出发时间,不是到达时间。)”可知,本段提醒要提前安排时间,错过时间是很麻烦的事情,E项中“You might have to wait longer”与前后文对应,说明错过火车导致的结果,因此推断E项“你可能要等上超过24小时才能赶上下一班。”符合语境。故选E项。
40.根据上文“Have fun.(玩得开心)”以及下文“To calculate your speed as you do, divide 3,600(the number of seconds in an hour)by the number of seconds it takes you to travel one mile(the distance between two mileposts).”(要计算你的速度,用3600(一小时的秒数)除以你走一英里(两个里程碑之间的距离)所花费的秒数。)” 故选A项。

Birthdays are supposed to be happy occasions where celebrations, being spoiled and positive reflection are all part of the day. Unfortunately, feeling depressed about an approaching birthday, as a person ages, is common. The following may help fight off Birthday Blues.
·Find the best way to celebrate
11 If someone loves luxurious celebrations, then they should try to have that sort of a day. If they prefer quality time with family, then they could make arrangements. On the other hand, doing something on their birthday that they do not enjoy, will make it harder for them to have a good time.
·Keep busy
If the Birthday Blues threaten to have a negative impact on someone, it may be better to avoid the day altogether. 12 Do something else. Negative thoughts can be easily forgotten so a person can move on with their life.
· 13
It is OK to be sad sometimes, but drowning in sadness all day is unhelpful for anyone struggling with negative emotions. For those who always get the Birthday Blues, it might be a good idea just to accept that they might feel sad and anxious. 14 Acknowledge them, and then put them to one side and get on with the day in a more positive frame of mind.
·Do something special
However much people hate or fear their birthday, they can make it better if they plan something for that day that cannot fail to bring them excitement. They may think about booking to see a show, getting a spa, or going out for dinner. 15
A.Set a sadness time limit.
B.Turn the sadness into a helpful experience.
C.Allow those feelings to come into their mind.
D.Removing negative thoughts finally pays off.
E.Keeping distracted will ensure the day passes quickly.
F.Birthdays are days when it is acceptable to be a bit selfish.
G.Whatever is likely to lift their spirits may help them feel better.
【答案】11.F 12.E 13.A 14.C 15.G
11.分析设空位于段首,是本段的中心句,根据后文“If someone loves luxurious celebrations, then they should try to have that sort of a day. If they prefer quality time with family, then they could make arrangements.(如果有人喜欢奢华的庆祝活动,那么他们应该试着过这样的一天。如果他们更喜欢与家人共度美好时光,那么他们可以做出安排)”可知,本段主要讲述了人们可以按照自己喜欢的方式去庆祝生日,所以F项“Birthdays are days when it is acceptable to be a bit selfish. (生日是可以允许有点自私的日子)”符合文意,为本段中心句。故选F项。
12.根据前文“If the Birthday Blues threaten to have a negative impact on someone, it may be better to avoid the day altogether. (如果“生日忧郁”可能会对某人产生负面影响,那么最好完全避开这一天)”以及后文“Do something else. Negative thoughts can be easily forgotten so a person can move on with their life.(做点别的事情。消极的想法很容易被忘记,这样人们就可以继续他们的生活)”可知,空处应是过渡句,从提议避开这一天搭配提出做点别的事情,所以E项“Keeping distracted will ensure the day passes quickly. (保持注意力分散会让时间过得很快)”符合文意,起到过渡作用,引出下文。故选E项。
13.分析设空,应是本段小标题,是对本段的高度概括,根据下文“It is OK to be sad sometimes, but drowning in sadness all day is unhelpful for anyone struggling with negative emotions. (有时悲伤是可以的,但是整天沉浸在悲伤中对任何与消极情绪斗争的人都没有帮助)”可知,本段主要讲述了悲伤可以,但是不能沉浸在悲伤中无法自拔,所以A项“Set a sadness time limit. (设定悲伤的时间限制)”是本段的标题。故选A项。
14.根据前文“For those who always get the Birthday Blues, it might be a good idea just to accept that they might feel sad and anxious. (对于那些总是患有生日忧郁的人来说,接受他们可能会感到悲伤和焦虑的事实可能是个好主意)”以及后文“Acknowledge them, and then put them to one side and get on with the day in a more positive frame of mind. (承认它们,然后把它们放在一边,以一种更积极的心态开始新的一天)”可知,此处是讲述,正面面对让他们可能会感到悲伤和焦虑的事实,试着去接受他们,所以C项“Allow those feelings to come into their mind. (让这些感觉进入他们的脑海)”符合此处主题。故选C项。
15.分析设空,位于段尾,是本段的总结句,根据前文“However much people hate or fear their birthday, they can make it better if they plan something for that day that cannot fail to bring them excitement. They may think about booking to see a show, getting a spa, or going out for dinner. (无论人们多么讨厌或害怕他们的生日,如果他们为那天计划一些能给他们带来兴奋的事情,他们可以让它变得更好。他们可能会考虑预约看一场演出,做个水疗,或者出去吃顿饭)”可知,本段主要讲述做一些让自己兴奋的事,所以G项“Whatever is likely to lift their spirits may help them feel better. (任何可能振奋他们精神的事情都可能帮助他们感觉更好)”符合本段主题,是对前文的总结。故选G项。

How to Turn Your Dreams into a Reality
Do you have dreams, visions or plans about things you’d love to have or achieve Of course you do! We all do. Unfortunately, dreaming is the easy part. 31 The good news is that there are proven techniques that can get you from where you are to where you want to be. Follow this process to bring your dreams to fruition (实现):
Turn your dream into a goal.
When you have a goal, you have a true target. For a greater chance of success, your plan should have a deadline and it must be measurable. 32 Give yourself the gift of setting a deadline and things will start to happen. Make your goal as desirable as possible without being unrealistic. If you feel that your goal is unreasonable, it’s much more difficult to encourage yourself to actually pursue it.
Prioritize (优先化) your goal daily.
33 You give instructions to your brain thousands of times a day. Let your mind know that your goal is something more important than “I feel like eating a ham sandwich” or “I need to stop at the grocery store on the way home”.
34
Difficult goals can rarely be achieved alone; you’re likely to need some help and guidance. Look at the list you made and see what you already have in your life that could help you on your path.
Track your progress.
Measure your progress each day. Use old fashioned paper and pencil or take advantage of the latest smartphone app. 35 You can only adjust your approach if you know how you’re doing. Consider making a chart if that’s applicable to your goal.
A.Read and write your goal each day.
B.Make a list of negative associations.
C.Classify (将……分类) your available resources.
D.Tracking is critical to making continued progress.
E.Turning those dreams into a reality is the challenge.
F.It has been said that dreams are goals without a deadline.
G.So make a list of all the negative stuff that slip into your mind.

To fully appreciate Australian cuisine, you have to consider the unique nature of its wildlife and geography.

Some people measure success by the wealth they’ve accumulated, or the status they’ve achieved. Yet, even though they’ve reached success beyond their wildest dreams, they still feel something is missing from their life. Their soul may be searching for something more. 16
Although everyone is different, there are common threads that bind a life with purpose.
Live by your beliefs and values.
People who live a life of purpose have core beliefs and values that influence their decisions, shape their daily actions, and determine their priorities. They place significant value on being a person of virtue. 17 And they spend more time listening to their inner voice than being influenced by others.
Follow your passion.
People who live a life of purpose wake up each morning eager to face the new day. They pursue their dreams with enthusiasm, put their heart into everything they do, and feel that they’re personally making a difference. As James Dean once said, “ 18 ”

People who live a life of purpose have a positive impact on someone else’s life. They are willing to help people in need and make their life better and happier. They gain as much satisfaction witnessing the success of others as witnessing their own.

Before you go on your next two-wheeled adventure, make sure you’re familiar with the ins and outs of bicycle safety. This holds true whether you’re riding a traditional bike or an e-bike — one powered by an electric motor in addition to your pedaling.
Many of the safety recommendations are the same for both types of bikes. Wear a helmet. 36 Make sure you’re visible to motorists (some e-bikes now come with lights). Know how to use your arm to signal turns (left: extend your left arm out to the side; right: extend your right arm or bend your left arm up at a right angle). Don’t talk on the phone, text, or listen to music. 37
Be sure your e-bike is ready to ride. That starts with checking that the tires are inflated and the brakes are working properly. If the bicycle hasn’t been used for a while, take it for a tune-up before you take it for a ride. 38 And before and after every ride, inspect your bicycle for damage.
39 This is also important for e-bike riders. “With the ability to go faster comes the responsibility to know when you should slow down,” says Ash Lovell, electric bicycle policy director at People for Bikes, a cyclist advocacy organization.
Know the rules of the road. “When you’re riding in the street, even in a protected bike lane, read the signals, pay attention to the lane markings, and check the signage to see where e-bikes are allowed,” Lovell says. 40 Signs in those states may specify which types of bikes are allowed on which roads and paths. Check the People for Bikes website (peopleforbikes.org) for more information.
A.Do not ride on the left.
B.Be aware of your speed.
C.And if you’re an e-bike rider, take notice of the following tips.
D.Remember to replace batteries on a regular basis.
E.Ride with the flow of traffic rather than against it.
F.For an e-bike, also make sure your battery is charged.
G.Thirty-six states have adopted a classification system for e-bikes.

How to make a cooking video on TikTok
You may think sharing your cooking videos on TikTok isn’t a big deal. 36 We’ve asked some experts for tips on how to film, edit and post cooking videos on TikTok.
Keep it simple
“Simplicity is key when creating food content on TikTok,” says MacKenzie Smith, creator of Grilled Cheese Social. 37 “My Baked Feta Pasta that went viral (走红) earlier this year is a good example of how simple food trends can take over the social landscape,” says Smith.
Show off kitchen skills
38 Film something you do special or share a helpful tip some viewers may not know. Smith, who’s partnering the National Mango Board, says she’s been starting all her videos for the campaign with a demonstration of the best mango cutting technique.
Film from different angles
If you have two smartphones or cameras, try setting them up on tripods (三脚架) at different angles, so you can edit with a diversity of different shots, both overhead and from another good point. Only have one device No worries. 39
Break the rules
Just like cooking, the rules of TikTok are meant to be broken. So if you want your viewers to keep coming back to your videos, never be afraid of trying creative ideas. 40 Make what you want to make. Who knows what will become a trend, and what was a waste of your time

There’s no need to be ashamed about dozing off in class. It is actually a natural phenomenon. Studies have shown that people can only stay completely focused on something for a maximum of 10 minutes. 16 Dozing off during an important activity or event on a regular basis can develop into a habit that you might carry into other areas of your life.
Scientists have found that avoiding overeating before class is one of the most effective ways to beat class sleepiness. Most people have experienced “food coma (昏迷)” after eating a large meal. Eating too much results in a feeling of heaviness that uses up your energy. This happens because the body releases chemicals that signal drowsiness after eating. 17
Carbohydrates (碳水化合物) release more serotonin (血清素) from the brain, which makes you feel good. 18 Basically, not all foods have the same impact on your body. While some foods can increase your energy, others can make you sleepy. Also, tasking your body with digesting a large meal is exhausting. Eating large portions — especially of unhealthy foods — will leave your body with little energy to use elsewhere.
19 This gives your body the opportunity to digest smaller amounts of food at a time, leaving you feeling energized instead of tired after your meals.
Also, avoid heavy foods and choose healthy, balanced meals instead. 20 An example of a well-rounded breakfast to have before class would be a glass of milk, an egg and a salad containing at least three vegetables.
A.Finally, it helps deliver oxygen to your vital organs.
B.However, too much serotonin can lead to drowsiness.
C.Unfortunately, most classes last longer than 10 minutes.
D.Falling asleep in class can cause poor academic performance.
E.A healthy meal should include fruit, vegetables and healthy fats.
F.This is particularly true if you eat a meal that is high in carbohydrates.
G.It is recommended that you keep a stable level of energy by eating smaller meals.

Does the happiness of parents play a role in shaping the overall happiness of their children Scientific studies have shed light on the far-reaching connection between parental happiness and the positive development of kids. It seems that parental happiness has an important influence on the emotional, social, and cognitive (认知的) development of children. 16 If they know their mental and emotional happiness has an impact on their children, perhaps it can motivate them to view it as part of being a good parent.
17 For example, they can join in activities that bring them joy and satisfaction. This could include hobbies, exercise, pursuing personal goals, or taking time for relaxation. When parents improve their own happiness, they can better support their children’s happiness.
Another great idea is sharing experiences and creating many memories together. The idea is twofold. 18 At the same time, the shared experiences and showing their children how happy they are to do something they love can be incredibly valuable as well.
One of the main aspects of being happy parents is feeling comfortable, confident and able to be themselves, despite their new status and huge responsibility. Honestly, when parents prioritize their own happiness, it has positive effects on the overall happiness of the family. 19
When parents put their own happiness first, they become role models for their kids. They see the importance of self-care, pursuing passions and maintaining healthy relationships. 20 So, parents should accept their uniqueness, enjoying life!
A.However, part of being responsible is being honest.
B.They are passing on some major life skills and attitudes.
C.They may lose a bit of their sense of self when caring for children.
D.Parents can adopt practical ways to enhance their own happiness.
E.A joyful and harmonious family environment benefits everyone involved.
F.This can happen when parents prioritize their own happiness according to Inc.
G.Firstly, the parents continue to be themselves and do something they love.

Everyone knows about straight-A students. Many straight-A students actually put in fewer hours of homework time than their low-scoring classmates. Here are some secrets of the young study champions.
16 .
Top students bear no breaks on study time. Once the books are open or the computer is booted up, phone calls go unanswered, TV shows unwatched, and snacks ignored. Study is business; business comes before recreation.
Get organized.
Paul Melendres, a straight-A freshman from New Mexico, keeps two folders — one for the day’s assignments, another for papers completed and graded. 17 . Melendres’ methods have actually proven effective. Even students who don’t have a private study area remain organized to cut down time-wasting searches.
Clean up your act.
Neat papers are likely to get higher grades than sloppy ones. “The student who turns in a neat paper,” says Claude Olney, an Arizona State University business professor, “is already on the way to an A.It’s like being served a cheeseburger. 18 .”
Speak up.
“If I don’t understand what my teacher is explaining, I asked him to repeat it,” says Christopher Campbell. Class participation goes beyond merely asking questions, though. 19 . “Better academic grades come from better understanding.” says Campell. “I don’t want to memorize information for tests only.”
Test yourself.
As part of her note-taking, Domenica Roman emphasizes points that she thinks may be covered during exams. 20 . Later she gives herself a written examination before test day. “If I can’t answer the questions satisfactorily, I will go back and review.” she says.
A.Set priorities.
B.Schedule your time.
C.She designs test questions based on them.
D.It’s a matter of showing intellectual curiosity.
E.A bag or drawer keeps essential supplies together.
F.Hard work isn’t the whole story behind their academic grades.
G.You can’t believe it tastes good if it’s presented on a dirty plate.

What exactly is the importance of teachers in the current educational landscape The last few years have witnessed the rise of education technology and online tutoring firms. 16 Such people, however, have completely ignored the one thing that makes studying in a proper classroom irreplaceable and that is the importance of teachers.
The internet has more information about any given topic than any one person can ever hope to possess. 17 Knowing that ‘tomato is a fruit’ is information, and not putting it in a fruit salad is wisdom. This example does a perfect job in illustrating just how important wisdom is in the day to day life. Books and the internet can give you information, but only a teacher can pass on wisdom. 18
Understanding the reason for the poor performance of a particular child and helping them overcome their weakness while also pushing the top performers to do better are things only a teacher can do.
You can develop the most amazing online tutoring platform and fill it with amazing and interesting videos but it is never enough. 19 But videos are made for a general audience. They can hardly be sufficient for the problems that students face in their life outside the classroom. Only teachers who have spent time with their students can guide the students in a way that can help them figure a way out of any problem they might be facing in their life.
20 While the list of reasons stating the importance of teachers is a bit too long to put in a single article, these two are sufficient to silence anyone who believes that going to school to be taught by proper teachers will soon become obsolete.
A.Wisdom, however, is something that it badly lacks.
B.Every single student is unique in his or her own way.
C.Teachers are also important in shaping the future of the youth.
D.On this point, the importance of teachers should never be understated.
E.Everything people can possibly learn is freely available on the internet.
F.Many argue that they might one day completely replace formal schooling.
G.These are just two ways that teachers have a massive impact on their students.
