这种句型是含有be动词的一般疑问句，其构成是：Be动词＋主语＋其他成份？读时成升调，句尾用问号。回答时主语用it代替，肯定回答：Yes，it is.否定回答：No，it isn't.
2. this与that的区别
this，that在句子中都可以指代人或物，但二者分工明确，互不混淆。
(1)指距离说话人较近的人或物时用this；指距离说话人较远的人或物时用that。
(2)当向别人介绍某人时，用“This is…”，其中this不能用he/she代替。
(3)介绍放在一起的两样东西时，this在前，that跟在后。
(4)this is无缩写形式，that is可以缩写成that's。
