born in the year 551 B.C. He was a great thinker who
had many wise ideas about human nature and behavior.
His main ideas are about kindness and good manners.

countries. For example, one of his famous sayings,

who引导定语从句，who只能做“人”关系代词，在定语从句中作主语时，不能省略。
whom引导定语从句，只用于指人，不用于指事或物，其中who在定语从句中用作主语，whom在定语从句中用作宾语。用作宾语的whom如果不是紧跟在介词之后，通常会被省略或用who, that代之。
whose引导的定语从句，关系代词whose既可用于指人，也可用于指事或物，它在定语从句中主要用作定语。
