时代背景：18世纪—19世纪，正是拿破仑统治时期，而且帝国正处在繁盛时期，社会生产力也在急剧上升，科学技术也在快速发展，并且取得了可喜的成果。但是在高额垄断资本统治地位的当时，随着科学技术的不断迸步，高额垄断资本的不断积累和膨胀，人民之间的贫富差距不断拉大。这给当时的社会时局进程无疑带来了巨大的隐患，革命斗争此起彼伏。而在艺术界和思想界，各种思潮也是一浪过于一浪。
《思想者》居于《地狱之门》的中心位置。题材取自于但丁《神曲》的《地狱篇》。在《地狱篇》里，并没有关于“思想者”的描写，只有地狱罪行裁判者的形象。历来，西方的艺术家们都把这裁判者描绘成可怖的、权力无比的巨人。罗丹却赋予这形象以新的内容，把他雕刻成严肃和深沉思索问题的劳动者。这个劳动者有粗壮的体魄，但是他的力量却被桎梏着、束缚着。似乎在他的思考中凝聚着对自己，对人类命运忧虑和关注的心情。
《
《雀之恋》“以深蓝色主色调的森林为大环境，画面中间变幻成月光映衬下的凤尾竹，对“孔雀”的生活环境加以艺术提炼，使“孔雀”融入美的环境，达到最好的艺术效果。同时蓝色调的舞美背景会让节目显得诗意更足。月亮从天幕缓缓运动到弧幕，带来了极强的视觉感受，蝴蝶在竹丛中飞舞，粒子特效带着光晕徐徐升起，营造出唯美的环境从而陪衬出“双雀”最美的恋爱环境。随着“双雀”感情的发展，舞蹈演绎达到高潮，我们制作了孔雀开屏动画，将舞蹈的美以最简单的方式展示到极致，也将雀之恋的舞蹈内涵直观简洁的传达了出来，从而达到了情感共鸣。”
《雀之恋》中拟形又超脱于形的精髓，空灵之雀被赋予了天真纯美的人性，在展现雀儿的爱情故事之时又融入了现代元素，比如现代舞的运动方式、现代人体彩绘艺术以及震撼的舞美设计等。更加全方位的诠释了舞蹈语言和舞蹈主题，难以令人印象深刻。

创作于1931年的《永恒的记忆》是达利早期的代表作，早已为人们所认识和广为传播。这幅被称为具有“诗意的象征手法”的画作——《永恒的记忆》，画面描绘了一个死寂般宁静的旷野。平静如镜的海，一马平川的沙滩、荒凉的海岸，以及一个不可能在这个环境中出现的方形台座，一块板，一棵树。画面突出表现了像软瓶似的三块钟表，它们有的挂在树上，有的坐在台座上，另一块疲软地搭在像人脸的白色生物上。还有一块未变形的红色钟表，它上面爬满了黑色的蚂蚁。方台上一块软表面上还歇着一只苍蝇。蚂蚁和苍蝇画得纤毫毕露，连它们的投影都精细地绘出。
《图兰朵》讲述中国元朝时的一个公主图兰朵为了报祖先暗夜被掳走之仇，下令如果有个男人可以猜出她的三个谜语，她会嫁给他;如猜错，便处死。三年下来，已经有多个没运气的人丧生。流亡中国的鞑靼王子卡拉夫(Calaf)与父亲帖木儿和侍女柳儿在北京城重逢后，看到猜谜失败遭处决的波斯王子和亲自监斩的图兰朵。卡拉夫王子被图兰朵公主的美貌吸引，不顾父亲、柳儿和三位大臣的反对来应婚，答对了所有问题，原来这三道谜题的答案分别是“希望”、“鲜血”和“图兰朵”。但图兰朵拒绝认输，向父皇耍赖，不愿嫁给卡拉夫王子，于是王子自己出了一道谜题，只要公主若在天亮前得知他的名字，卡拉夫不但不娶公主，还愿意被处死。公主捉到了王子的父亲帖木儿和丫鬟柳儿，并且严刑逼供。柳儿自尽以示保守秘密。卡拉夫借此指责图兰朵十分无情。天亮时，公主尚未知道王子之名，但王子最终融化了她冰般冷漠的心，而王子也把真名告诉了公主。公主也没公布王子的真名，反而公告天下下嫁王子，王子的名字叫“爱(Amora)”。
