as if的用法
as if 可替换为as though
(1)as if从句用陈述语气的情况:当说话人认为句子所述的是真实或极有可能发生或存在的事实时。
(2)as if从句用虚拟语气的情况:当说话人认为句子所述的是不真实的或极少有可能发生或存在的情况时。其动词时态形式如下:
①从句表示与现在事实相反,谓语动词用一般过去时。
②从句表示与过去事实相反,谓语动词用过去完成时。
③从句表示与将来事实相反,谓语动词用would/could/might+动词原形。
特别提示
如果as if引导的从句与现在事实相反,从句用虚拟语气,且谓语为be动词,其动词通常用were,而不用was。
