一、教学内容分析
本课来自八年级上册第十模块第一单元，由贝蒂和玲玲要去滑冰引出了谈论天气的对话，主要学习表示天气的词汇和句型，语法主要包括表示可能性的几个情态动词，特别贴近实际生活，对于学生日常英文表达有着重要意义。
二、教学目标
1.通过本单元的学习，让学生掌握表示可能性的单词和句型；
2.理解并会运用有关提问和说明天气状况的方法；
3.提醒学生关注天气变化。
三、学习者特征分析
通过课前与学生交流，了解学生对于相关词汇的学习在小学已有涉猎，但未深入；且学生乐于在日常生活中更多地运用英文，对于表达天气相关语句的学习也比较感兴趣。
四、教学策略选择与设计
采用小组合作的方式，在听、说、读方面设置三关，看哪一组能在最短的时间内迅速、准确地解决问题、找到答案。
