一、指示代词
指示代词是用来指示或标识人或事物的代词,英语中的指示代词有四个,即this, that, these和those。
1.this和these指代离说话人较近的人或物,that和those指代离说话人较远的人或物, these是this的复数形式,those是that的复数形式。
2.this或that作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式,these或those作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。
3.这四个指示代词用于疑问句时,要注意其答语。当this, that作问句的主语时,回答时用it代替this或that;当these,those作问句的主语时,回答用they代替these或those。

三、单数句变复数句
单数句变复数句的特点总结如下:
1.主格人称代词要由单数形式变为复数形式。 即 I—we;you—you;he/she/it—they。
2.am或is要变为are。
3.指示代词this变为these, that变为 those。
4.不定冠词a或an要去掉。
5、可数名词单数形式变复数形式
变化时要注意以下规则:
1).直接在名词末尾加 s.如:desk- desks
2).以 s,x,sh,ch结尾的加 es,如:box- boxes,brush- brushes,match-matches
3).以y结尾,前为辅音字母,要变 y 为 i + es.如:baby- babies.但前为原因字母时,直接加 s,如:boy- boys
4).以f/ fe 结尾,要变 f 为 v+ es.如:knife- knives
5).以 o 结尾,外来词或缩写的词,直接加 s.如:zoo- zoos
但:tomato- tomatoes, potato- potatoes ...

1.名词所有格
英语中,名词所有格常分为三类:
(1)单数名词和不以-s结尾的复数名词的所有格是在该名词的末尾加“’s”。
eg:Tom's, children's
(2)以-s结尾的复数名词的所有格是在复数名词的末尾直接加“’”
eg:teachers' books
(3)无生命名词的所有格一般使用of,意为“……的”。
eg:the legs of the table
注:to 表所有关系 eg: the key to the lock 开锁的钥匙
2.英语中表示感谢的句子有:

3.What/How about…?的用法
What/How about…?用来征求对方的建议,意为“……怎么样”,后接名词、代词或动词-ing 形式。

情态动词:
抽象地说,情态动词是用来表达情态的动词;具体地说,是用来表达可能、意愿、必要的动词。上述定义是从抽象的语义角度出发的。事实上在具体语言中的界定往往还要符合一定的句法形式或形态标准。在现代汉语语法中,情态动词又被称为能愿动词或助动词;而在英语中情态动词则是助动词中的一类。在这里我们为大家整理了情态动词表推测的三种句式:
1.在肯定句中一般用must (一定),may(可能),might / could(也许,或许)。
(1)He must/may/might know the answer to this question
他一定/可能/也许知道这个问题的答案。
(2)It iscoldin the room. They must have turned off the heating.
屋里很冷,他们肯定把暖气关了。
2.否定句中用can’t / couldn’t(不可能), may not/might not(可能不)。
(1)It can’t/couldn’t be the headmaster. He hasgoneto America.
这不可能是校长,他去美国了。
(2)He may not/might not know the scientist. 他也许不认识那位科学家。
3.疑问句中用can/could (能…… )。
(1)Could he have finished the task 他可能把任务完成了吗?

注:以上三种句式中情态动词的语气按程度都是依次递减的。might, could并非may, can的过去式,而表示语气较为委婉或可能性较小。

For pupils at a village school in Yiyuan county , Shandong province , Ren Jilan has not only been teaching them but also showing them how to face life bravely , especially when things just don’t seem to be working out .
Ren came from a poor family in a Yiyuan county village . She had to do more housework than other children when she was young because both her father and mother were in ill health . With support from her relatives and villagers . Ren completed her 12-year school study and was accepted by Qufu Normal University . But the four-year university experience didn’t go well . Her father died and then she had to care for her mother . At the difficult moment , it was her teacher , Li Zhenhua , who came to her and offered help .
After graduation , Ren was faced with chances to work as a teacher in cities , but she chose to return to her hometown and work as a country teacher at Fuluping Primary School . “Teacher Li gave up a well-paid job in a big city to teach children at the village school . I’d like to follow his path to play my fart for the education in my hometown .”Ren says .
Fuluping Primary School is 50 kilometers away from downtown Yiyuan county . It was once among the schools with the worst conditions in the county . But the school has its own beautiful and comfortable playground now .
Ren works hard on teaching and taking care of her students . She also spends a part of her money helping two poor students . She received the China Youth May 4th Medal -the country’s top honor for excellent young people .
“Life was not easy for me , but luckily I had nice people around me . They gave me a helping hand when I was in need , and it encouraged me to go on ,” says Ren .
