Unit 14 I remember meeting all of you in Grade 7.
本单元主题属于“人与自我”范畴,涉及“多彩、安全、有意义的学习生活”。其设计目的旨在复习巩固初中阶段一些重要的语法项目,同时让学生回顾并总结初中三年美好的时光。
Section A通过谈论初中毕业生的在校时光,在语言上让学生回顾并加深对几种时态、句式及固定搭配的理解及运用,在情感上让学生珍惜初中学习阶段的美好时光。本部分的重点是复习初中阶段比较重要的语法内容,如现在完成时
和一般过去时的用法,教学难点是“remember doing sth.”结构的用法以及如何理解和欣赏诗歌体裁的文章。
Section B是Section A在话题、语言结构和技能上的继续和延伸。在话题上,由谈论过去的中学生活转向对未来的展望;在语言上,除进一步综合训练Section A所复习的语言项目外,还加强训练学生准确描述过去并展望未来的语言能力;在技能上,则由听、说、读转向综合性的听、说、读、写训练。
1.理解、掌握和运用与过去的回忆和经历、校园时光和毕业典礼上的演讲相关的生词和短语,复习宾语从句等重点句型。
2.通过谈论过去的回忆和经历、校园时光和毕业典礼上的演讲,培养学生珍惜过去的时光,从现在做起,追求美好未来的意识。
3.要学会识别文体,根据不同文体实现不同的写作目的,提高阅读效率。
1.重点:运用本单元语法和句型回顾并加深对几种时态、句式及固定搭配的理解及运用。
2.难点:学会运用本单元语法和“remember doing sth.”结构等完成相关的写作任务。

1b:First,let students understand the meaning of these sentences.Then play the recording.Ask the students to listen and match the memory with the person in 1b individually.Check their work with several students.
1c:Get the students to list some memories and experiences from junior high school according to the information in 1c.Ask them to share their lists with their partner.
Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the whole class.

Step 2 Work on 3a
1.Write “I remember…” and some expressions on the blackboard.
2.Ask the students to read the poem and get the students to add more things about “I remember…” in the poem.
3.Ask the students to read aloud the poem.Get them to know the main subject of the poem is remembering life in junior high school,and that the writer is a student who is going to graduate.
4.Retell the poem according to the following mind map.

Step 3 Work on 3b~3c
1.Let the students read the poem again and tell the students to pay attention to the words that have the same rhyme.
2.Let the students write the words in 3b on their own.
3.Check the answers.Get the students to read aloud the words.
4.Read the instructions in 3c.Get the students to feel the things about themselves.Then read the poem and discuss the writer's feelings with the class.

Step 4 Work on Grammar Focus

3.Give some exercises.Practice with the students.
