一.课标分析
新课程标准的核心理念是强调以学生为本,重视培育和发展学生的主体性。强调从学生学习兴趣,生活经验和认知水平出发倡导体验实践参与合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合运用能力。
二.教材分析
本课的中心话题是天气和季节,贴近生活,目标语言“What's the weather like? ”也比较容易掌握。故教学重点是锻炼他们的写和说。在教学过程中我设计了对话表演,写天气预报,争当“小小天气预报员”,小组讨论等形式,让任务贯穿课堂,人人参与,并在小组间展开交流合作,增强他们的团队合作精神。
三.学生分析:
本班学生层次不一,大部分学生英语基础一般,口语较差。但他们思维活跃,个性活泼,能积极的配合老师;有强烈的表达自己,发表意见,并被别人肯定的欲望,又缺乏自信和勇气。因此在教学过程中选择合适的内容,激发学生兴趣,鼓励他们大胆开口说英语非常重要。
四。教学目标
1知识目标:学生能够运用 “sunny”, “rainy”, “cloudy” “windy”等形容词恰当的描述天气。
能用所学句型 “What is the weather like” 进行日常对话;
能够用所学知识写和说简单的天气预报;
2 能力目标:锻炼口语能力,思考能力
3 情感目标:欣赏自然的美与力量;
五.教学重点难点
句型 “What’s the weather like” 的掌握以及相关形容词的用法;
根据熟悉的话题练习口语
六。教学策略:
运用多媒体直观教学,通过欣赏歌曲激发兴趣,争当小小天气预报员竞赛等以学生为主体的任务型活动设计,激发学生的参与积极性。通过两两对话,师生交流和小组活动培养他们的交际能力和合作精神。最后以练习和写作加以巩固,以检查学习效果。在教学过程中我尽力营造宽松和谐的氛围,让不同层次的学生参与到教学过程中来。
七。教学过程
(一)课前探究:话题贴近生活,学生有生活经验和主观体验。因此知识要点掌握不难,材料可用来着重训练他们的口语能力。
(二) 教学步骤:
Step one: warming-up
Greeting students by talking about the weather, then play an English song《Sunny Day》
Step Two:
Present new words with PPT,and practice dialogues in pairs.
What is the weather like?
It is sunny / rainy / windy / snowy / cloudy…
What was the weather like?
It was sunny / rainy / windy / snowy / cloudy…
More able students are allowed to add contents according to their abilities, such as “ Do you like sunny weather?” “ Which weather do you like?” etc.
Step Three:
Show a large card of a map of China, the weather conditions of different cities will be marked with different signs. Students first write a short weather report about one city by imitating the text, then they will give weather reports in small groups. Then some students will be invited to give weather report to the whole class. Their names will be typed into the computer and seen by others.
Step Four:
1) Have the students enjoy another song Seasons, move the topic from the weather to seasons. Introduce some famous sayings about seasons:
A year’s plan starts with spring. An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening。
If the winter comes, can the spring be far behind?
.2) Divide the students into several groups. They will choose a season as their topic and have a hot discussion among them. The teacher will take part in each group for a few minutes, and inspire them with questions. For example: what’s the weather like?
What do people wear?
What activities will you do?
What do you feel about the spring?
By these questions they will be led to think in different ways. At last, each group is required to write their discussion results in words or sentences on a large paper card. Less able students are allowed to express their opinions by drawing pictures. Finally they present their works on the blackboard and I will evaluate them immediately and choose the best work.

设计意图
在明亮欢快的节奏里,学生的情绪一下子被调动起来,为进入课文学习营造了良好的氛围,紧接着引出本课的主要句型:What is the weather like?
精美的图片有助于单词的记忆,对话练习巩固重点句型。自编对话,长短自定,不同层次的学生均可得到锻炼。
仿写天气预报锻炼写作能力,然后通过组内练习熟悉内容,练习口语。把名字呈现在电脑上,并配上动画图片,新颖的形式能吸引大多数人的兴趣,激发他们走上台,张开嘴的勇气,并使学生从中体验学习的快乐,增强自信心。
这是一首音乐、动画、背景都非常美的歌,在美中去学习英语,去欣赏四季之美,感受不同天气的变化过程,感受自然的美与变化的力量,并不失时机去引导学生珍惜美好的时光,一年之计在于春,一天之计在于晨。同时也给学生休息的时间,营造轻松的课堂氛围。
增加词汇量;练习口语;提高合作能力,培养团队精神;师生互动;
最后的小比赛,不同层次学生用不同方式表达;争取人人可参与;最后对结果进行评价,及时检查学习效果;对完成最好的组表示奖励,激发他们的学习动机。
