(六)One possible version
Sharing the love for art, Jessie, Emily and I quickly developed a close bond. Our shared passion for creativity led to countless afternoons spent drawing, painting, and exchanging ideas. We explored the art fairs, local exhibitions and museums in Arizona. These shared experiences not only developed our artistic growth but also deepened our friendship, making this new place feel a bit more like home.
As time passed, the pain of leaving Texas began to fade. Jessie expanded our tight group by introducing me to their inner circle of more new friends where I found an even stronger sense of belonging in this new place. The memories we created together not only made me feel more at home, but also brought me closer to the people who had become a whole part of my life. Arizona, once a source of uncertainty, had transformed into a place I proudly called home, and it was all thanks to the unbreakable bonds I had formed with these incredible people.

Text 9
M: Hello, can I speak to Miss Leaney
W: This is Leaney. May I know who’s calling
M: I’m Adam Watt from the Seven Star Insurance Company. Thank you for your interest in our company. I need some more information from your side.
W: Oh, sure, Mr. Watt. Please go ahead.
M: You’ve got a degree in finance. Why did you apply for this job
W: I read the job description and discovered a few interesting programs that I’d like to be a part of. They’re challenging yet rewarding. Just the sort of things I consider to fit me best.
M: I see. But given your educational background, wouldn’t you want to work for some bigger companies
W: I prefer smaller companies to bigger ones, because a smaller business has the ability to be more flexible in its service offerings. In a small company, we can provide our customers with the exact service that they need. By doing this, we can form a closer relationship with our customers as if they were our neighbors or relatives.
M: That’s very interesting. When will you be available for employment
W: In two weeks. I’ve promised my parents a ten-day visit. I can start work immediately after I’m back.
M: Great. I will call you back in a couple of days about our final decision.
W: Okay. Thank you very much.
Text 10
M: Hello, everyone. Today’s guest is just 14 years old, and he is protecting birds around the world. His name is Dessi Sieburth. His love of birds started when he made his first bird feeder about six years ago. Now, he has his own group called “Protecting Our Birds”. He has been making western bluebird boxes for about four years. Dessi hangs them up in trees and takes them down every week and looks at them to see if the bluebirds are nesting. He does that every year during the summer. He chooses the bluebird because they nest in dead trees, but a lot of dead trees are being cut down. Dessi makes these boxes to take the place of the trees. He does research about birds, runs a website to teach people about birds and how to help them, and builds boxes for birds. Dessi has interviewed biologists, written a lot of articles on birds for local newspaper. Dessi also recently spent 10 days in Alaska with his family where he did research on golden eagles in Denali National Park. So now let’s welcome Dessi Sieburth!PDF 文件使用 "pdfFactory Pro" 试用版本创建 www.
