本模块以“动物”为话题，介绍了动物园里的5种动物 。通过学习，拓展了学生在物种和地理方面的知识，激发了学生学习的兴趣，培养学生热爱动物的情感，增强保护动物的意识。

三、学习者特征分析
七年级学生对自然科学充满着好奇，对地球上与人类共同生存的动植物充满着热爱，都期待家长带自己去动物园看一看。本单元是一篇阅读课文介绍了五种动物。在动物园里，动物的生活区域旁都会挂一块介绍该动物特点的文字说明文字。这篇课文的语境就是动物园里挂的关于某一动物的文字说明，每段文字都比较简单，而且所有段落不构成一篇完整文章。在讲授这一课时教师可以收集一些教学资源，提供一些动物园的图片或视频，给同学们较为直观的印象，帮助学生理解课文。
四、教学策略选择与设计
通过各种形式让学生了解动物，运用任务型教学方式引导学生积极参与教学活动，在整个过程中实现师生，生生互动，活动内容丰富有趣，接近学生生活，在互动，交流，合作，探究中实施教学。最后实现了学生能写出自己喜欢的动物这一目标的达成，培养孩子们热爱动物的情感，增强保护动物的意识。
