教学内容分析:
第十模块以 “Spring Festival” 为话题,结合该话题展开听,说,读,写活动。本模块以介绍中国的春节为主,引入了中国的传统民俗,对话与阅读文章都围绕传统民俗展开。春节是每个中学生都十分熟悉的中国传统节日,因此,这一话题与学生的生活息息相关,有利于各项活动的展开。
本课为第十模块的第一单元,围绕“Spring Festival”这一话题,主要学习与春节准备活动有关的习俗。通过本课时的学习,学生能够听懂用现在进行时表达的春节前的准备活动,能够使用现在进行时询问和回答正在发生的节日庆祝活动。
二. 学情分析
1. 从话题上来说,春节这一话题很贴近生活,七年级的学生对此话题很感兴趣,但对其准备工作缺乏感性的认识。因此本节课指导学生了解春节的准备工作,丰富学生相关的知识,以学定教。
2. 从听力学习的角度,由于初中学生在语音,词汇量等方面的限制以及各校普遍存在英语基础薄弱,学习兴趣不够浓厚,日常生活中听得少和练得少等特点,听力教学成为英语教学中的一个瓶颈,制约着学生的英语学习。因此,本课着重采取一系列的听力策略,配合各个层次的听力练习,使用各种听力技能,旨在通过本课,指导学生听力学习。

1. 词汇:能正确理解并使用下列单词和词组
动词:clean, sweep, cook, speak, happen, ready, join, hurry
名词:lantern, dragon, dance, floor, meal festival
形容词: beautiful
副词: quite, away
短语:get ready for, at the moment, at work, put away, hurry up
2. 语音:能识别并正确朗读/l/ /w/ /r/ /j/,以及含有这些音素的单词。
3. 语法:掌握并且运用现在进行时的各种形式
4. 功能:能够谈论节日准备活动,并进行问答
(二)语言技能目标:
1. 听:(1)能够辨别目标意群并进行排序。
(2)能够整体理解对话的大意并抓住主要人物。
(3)能够获取听力材料中的细节信息。
(4)能够运用概括和细节理解将听力材料图表化,并完成表格。
2. 说:(1)能正确朗读/l/ /w/ /r/ /j/,以及含有这些音素的单词。
(2)能用现在进行时描述春节前的准备活动.
(三)学习策略:
(1)本课在教学策略上采取自主学习策略和小组合作学习策略,鼓励学生学会自学和小组探究。
(2)在听力学习上,本课着重采取记忆策略和选择要点策略培养学生听力技巧。
(四) 情感态度:
一是学生通过本文的学习了解中国的传统节日民俗,进行文化上的传承,增强民族自豪感。二是让学生了解中外有关节日民俗上的不同,培养学生的跨文化交际能力。

(1) 掌握和运用现在进行时的用法并且能够用现在进行时谈论春节前的准备活动。
(2) 与听力材料关键词相关的语音训练
(3) 能够抓住听力语篇中的关键词与主题句

四.教学步骤
StepⅠ. Pre-listening.
Task 1. 【操作方式】
(1)Free talk---- The teacher asks students: “What is your favorite festival?” Then shows students a piece of video about the teacher’s favorite festival----Spring Festival.
(2 The teacher asks students “What do you usually do to get ready for Spring Festival?”
【设计意图】与春节有关的英文视频很好的引出本文的中心话题,通过询问最喜欢的节日激发学生原有的与节日有关的知识并刺激学生学习兴趣.
Task 2.【操作方式】
通过多媒体教学课件,向学生展示春节准备工作的五幅图片,以图片与音标相结合的方式给出关键词,让学生补全信息,并用现在进行时来描述图片。
【设计意图】1. 语音训练/l/ /w/ /r/ /j/,通过图片与音标结合完成单词,突出与目标音标有管的单词。2. 语法操练---现在进行时。
Task 3.【操作方式】
向学生展示与音素/l/ /w/ /r/ /j/有关的四组单词,练习拼读。
【设计意图】集中训练与音素/l/ /w/ /r/ /j/有关单词的拼读。
Step Ⅱ. While-listening
Task 1 .【操作方式】
a. Students listen and check the phrases you hear.
列出一系列与春节准备活动相关的词汇,画出听力原文提到的。本题属于听力活动当中较低级别的,难度较小。从听力技能上来看,属于辨音题中的辨别意群。.
b. Students listen again and then number the pictures.
将所听到的短语与图片相结合,并排序。属于中等难度题,需要进行图片与文字之间的转化。
【设计意图】通过低级和中级题型,完成本段听力材料的理解。训练学生抓住目标词汇和辨音的能力。而本次听力活动之前的图片理解实际上为听力活动降低了难度。
Task 2【操作方式】

【设计意图】首次听,目的在于使学生对于有听力课文有一个整体性把握.配合这一目标,设计了两道整体理解性的问答题,难度属于中等偏低,在听力策略指导上,要求学生把握两题中关键的疑问词what 和 who,并做笔记。

【设计意图】教师根据听力材料扩展,提炼浓缩整个故事内容,设计出一个表格,含有6个填空,让学生独立完成。设置本任务能满足基础好的学生,难度有一个升级也有利于学生进一步了解故事细节,同时此题从题型和难度上接近于中考听力最后一道回答问题题型,与中考接轨,可训练学生的应试技巧。本题要求学生深入理解文本内容并具备一定的概括能力,同时对学生的书写速记有一定要求。
