I will always remember the date February 28, 2023. This was the luckiest day of my life.
When I woke up that morning, it was raining heavily outside. As soon as I brushed my teeth and washed my face, I rushed to the bus stop in order to catch the early bus. And so I did. I arrived at school in time, while many students were late. Later that day, I realized that I had left my wallet at home so that I couldn’t buy lunch. However, I couldn’t believe that my friend Lily could share her lunch with me. A friend in need is a friend indeed. We had lunch happily together. After that, my brother told me he was free that night. Therefore, he could take me to the cinema. What’s more, I can choose whatever I like. What a pleasant surprise！
I think that was the best day I have had in a long time. What a lucky day!
