【教材分析】
Module 8 本模块的题材是童话故事,语言简单易懂,内容生动活泼,容易被学生接受和喜欢。本单元是这个模块的第一课,主要以听说为主,通过学习金盏花姑娘的故事,使学生掌握有用的表达,进一步提高学生用英语表达的交际能力,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。???????????
【设计理念】
根据新课标精神及听说课的课型要求,以教师为主导、学生为主体。本课从学生的实际出发,借助多媒体,激发学生的学习兴趣;围绕目标语言,由浅入深、由易到难设计任务,使学生在完成任务的过程中侧重听、说两方面,同时培养学生自主、合作、探究的精神,从而突出综合语言运用的能力。
【教学策略】
在教学过程中应始终利用童话故事的情节吸引学生,利用故事中的内容展开听说读写的训练,利用语境帮学生理解一般过去式的意义和归纳语法规则。
【教学目标】
1. 语言知识目标

2)Grammar:simple past tense
2. 语言技能目标:
1)能听懂简单故事中的主要人物和事件。
2)能用一些规则动词的过去式描述过去的事情或讲一个故事。
3. 情感目标:通过阅读童话故事,提高学习英语的兴趣,感受学习英语的乐趣。
【教学重点】
1.重点:通过童话故事训练学生的听、说、读、写能力,掌握规则动词的一般过去式。
2.难点:掌握规则动词变过去式的规律,逐步形成正确使用一般过去式的意识。
【教学方法】
多媒体课件情境导入。两人一组活动和小组活动。故事情节演示。
【教学过程】
Step one: Warming-up and Lead in
1.????? Listen to the song: Twinkle,twinkle,little star.
(师生互动:Do you like this song? It brings me to my childhood life?
Do you always miss your childhood life?)
2.????? Let’s talk: what did you like doing when you were very little?
And students should use “I liked ..”to answer.

设计意图:用一首学生们耳熟能详的英文儿歌《小星星》来导入,能激发学生的学习兴趣,同时鼓励学生拍手跟唱,烘托了整个课堂气氛。通过儿歌引出学生们对童年的回忆,询问小时候喜欢做的事情,顺势导入童话故事的主题,自然流畅,学生喜欢。
3.????? Do you know these stories? Show some pictures of famous stories. Such as Tom and Jerry; The emperor’s new clothes; Alicein Wonderland; Cinderella; The little mermaid. Let students say them out.
设计意图:学生们大声说出他们喜欢的童话故事,为学习新的故事做铺垫。

设计意图:根据教师展示的图片,即兴表演一个小对话,用生生互动的对话方式来复习前面学过的过去时态的表达。
Step two: Listening

设计意图:金盏花姑娘的图片能吸引学生的注意力,很快进入课文内容。

初听一遍听力材料,回答简单的三个问题。

细听一遍听力材料,找出正确的句子,学生回答时要将错误的改正过来。做到知其然知其所以然。
设计意图:听力训练是一个循序渐进的过程,需要教师掌握好节奏和难度。
Step three:Readingand Practice

设计意图:通过观看课文的flash动画,使学生感知故事的真实性。同时也符合学生的心理特点,使其在轻松愉悦的气氛中不知不觉地掌握目标语言。

A:Goldilocks’s choice is the just right one. This should be our principle(原则)in the daily life.金盏花姑娘选择了大小适中的碗,吃光了碗里的饭。告诉我们,做出适合自己的选择才是最正确的。
B: It is impolite to enter other people’s? house without permission(允许).金盏花姑娘没有经过允许而进入了三只小熊的家是不礼貌的,告诉学生要尊重别人、懂礼貌。
5.????? Complete with the correct form of the words from the box in activity 5 and try to find out all the past form verbs in it. Then check the answer from the whole class.完成选词填空,并让学生找出该段落的所有动词过去式。
设计意图:通过完成选词填空,巩固提升所学知识。找出动词的过去式,更是突出了本课的难点。
Step four: Consolidation

设计意图:视频的呈现能清晰直观地让学生看到如何复述课文,优秀学生的榜样展示更能激起学生模仿的兴趣。
2.????? Group work and retell the story. 小组合作,以故事接龙的方式复述课文。
设计意图:小组合作培养学生的协作意识。
3.????? Try to make this interesting story----Snow White. Give some key words and expressions to help students. Write down the story on the color paper. Then choose one of them to show.
设计意图:重组一个新的故事是本节课的提升部分,发挥学生想象力和创造力的同时,巩固并运用了本课所学的语言知识和语法知识。最后的展示部分,是学生英语综合能力的体现。
Step five: Summary and homework
Level A: Make a story by yourself and write it on your workbook
Level B: remember all the key words and expressions.
设计意图:分层作业的布置,体现了因材施教的原则。确实保证了作业的高效、实效。
【奖励机制】
整堂课用分组竞赛的方式,当小组成员答对问题或者参与活动,教师发sticker(粘贴)并记一分,鼓励学生积极主动地参与课堂教学活动,充分体现了学生才是教学活动主体的原则。
