It was a great honour for me to attend a speech organized by you themed "Tang Poetry Week"last week.As
a Chinese student,I appreciate foreigners admiring Chinese culture so much.
But I have some views about the speech.First,most participants didn't quite understand the real meaning of
the poetry they recited,so they didn't put many affections into them.Besides,many characters were wrongly
pronounced,which made the lines sound funny.
So I hope later before the speech you should train the participants about the poems.Only when they truly
understand them can they make excellent performances.

I walk up to the counter and ask for a tiny cup of ice cream.The woman behind the counter did the usual
customer service "How's your day "I talked about how I had to go home because I wasn't well enough to work
and that I would end up missing shark week because of it.I almost broke up crying.Hearing my story,she looked
sad and very kindly comforted me.Soon I finished my ice cream,stood up and reached my hand to my pocket.

Before I could even pull out my wallet,the woman held up her hand.Gladly she told me that it was on her.
Turning to the fridge,she brought a bigger ice cream and told me to feel better with it.I did thank her about a
million times before going to my bus.She made my horrible day just a little bit better.What even surprised me
was that a few days later,when I returned to my work,my co-worker showed me the video she recorded.What a
pleasant gift she gave me!I hugged her and tears came down my eyes.
