It’s a long time since we communicated last time. Now I’m studying in a senior high school and here I don’t use cellphone any more. With the help of my class teacher I began to know the harm the cellphone does to us middle school students. Cellphones not only hurt our health but also have a bad effect on our study. To my surprise, no one followed me. I lowered my head alone and was filled with fear. After looking around for a while, Mrs. Hill walked towards me. Strangely, she asked in a soft voice, “Why did you dare to stand up ” I said I wanted to be honest and that I realized what I had done was wrong. Unexpectedly, Mrs. Hill was quite amazed by my answer and praised me for that. Then she returned to the front of the classroom and explained why we should be honest.
With Mrs. Hill’s encouragement, another student stood up. Then more students followed until about half of the students stood up. Seeing it, Mrs. Hill praised us for our courage. Then, she asked us to sit down. We continued reading books. After we finished, Mrs. Hill reminded us to remember that everyone should be responsible for his behavior. We all agreed with her. And I was happy that in a way I set a good example to my classmates.
