讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 讲授新课（Presentation） To show some statements about table manners with pictures and get students to read and judge. Check the answers one by one and translate them into Chinese. Help students to correct the wrong one. Get students to enjoy a short video and help students to catch the topic of this lesson:Table manners. 听力练习（Listening） Ask students to look at the pictures in 1b and encourage them to describe the pictures one by one by using their own words. Help students to pay attention to the expressions on person’s face.Try to guess their feelings. Ask students to read the title of 1b and try to get the background of the listening material. Play the tapes for the first time to catch the main idea. Play the tapes for the second time and number the pictures in the order they hear them. Check the answers together. Read the sentences in 1c and try to translate them into Chinese. Play the tapes for the third time and ask students to match the sentence parts. Read after the tapes sentence by sentence and explain the dialogue in detail. Check the answers one by one. To show some questions on the blackboard and get students to answer them using their own sentences.
