导入新课 Leading in Greeting each other. Help students list some function structures which we have learned last time. Get students to make sentences by using above phrases. Read them together. Greeting Review and translate. Review
讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 讲授新课(Presentation) To show some statements about table manners with pictures and get students to read and judge. Check the answers one by one and translate them into Chinese. Help students to correct the wrong one. Get students to enjoy a short video and help students to catch the topic of this lesson:Table manners. 听力练习(Listening) Ask students to look at the pictures in 1b and encourage them to describe the pictures one by one by using their own words. Help students to pay attention to the expressions on person’s face.Try to guess their feelings. Ask students to read the title of 1b and try to get the background of the listening material. Play the tapes for the first time to catch the main idea. Play the tapes for the second time and number the pictures in the order they hear them. Check the answers together. Read the sentences in 1c and try to translate them into Chinese. Play the tapes for the third time and ask students to match the sentence parts. Read after the tapes sentence by sentence and explain the dialogue in detail. Check the answers one by one. To show some questions on the blackboard and get students to answer them using their own sentences. Check the answers together and underline some relative sentences, Play the tapes for the forth time for students to read and correct their pronunciation. 对话练习(Pair Work) Get students to discuss and try to list other table manners in Chinese in group. Ask several groups to show their works on the blackboard then others add more. Read the dialogue in 1c to catch the function structures. Give some minutes for students to make their own conversations.
