To celebrate the Spring Festival, people have a lot of interesting activities to do.Before the Spring Festival, people usually clean their houses and put on the Spring Festival Couplets on the door. Children like this festival because they can wear new cloths and get lucky money from their grandparents, parents, uncles or aunts. On New Year’s Eve, Family members always get together and have a big dinner, called New Year’s Eve Dinner. People usually put coins into some dumplings. If you eat the dumplings with a coin in it, you can have good luck in the coming new year. During the Spring Festival, people visit and pay a New Year call to their relatives as well.
All in all, Chinese people attach great importance to the Spring festival, for the reason that it stands for a strong desire to reunite with their families and a new beginning for the future.
