学习 目标 1.学生能听懂“Let’s try”部分,为学习“Let s talk”部分对话做准备 2.学生能听懂并学会说句子:What did you do 并能在实际情景中灵活运用并回答。 3.学生能使用句型询问和回答过去所发生的动作; 能以正确的语音语调朗读对话,并能理解对话大意。 4.学生能学会熟悉身边的人所做的事情,并能够做到经常关心别人。
教学 重难点 1.能听懂“Let’s try”部分,为学习“Let s talk”部分对话做准备。 2.能使用句型询问和回答过去所发生的动作。 3.能听懂并学会说句子:What did you do 并能在实际情景中灵活运用并回答。
学情 分析 本课时与第一课时紧密相连,围绕“Last Weekend”展开话题。本节课主要通过打电话的情景学会如何用英语表达周末过得怎么样、周末做了哪些事情、还做了其它什么事情吗,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。本课时的重点是Did you do anything else 的理解和How was your weekend It was… What did you do I…在情景中的运用。 本课时包括Let’s try 和Let’s talk 两个板块。Let’s try是听力训练,呈现的是Mike和Sarah打电话聊天的情景。通过听力的练习,体会三种时态的不同语用环境,为下一步Mike打电话给爷爷做铺垫,为进入正式的的对话学习做好准备。Let’s talk呈现的是Mike和Grandpa在电话里谈论周末活动的场景。情景设置很真实,学生们都非常感兴趣,激发了学生学习的热情和想要用英语表达的欲望。 本课时出现的短语stayed at home, watched TV, cleaned my room, washed my clothes在第一课时已经学过,drank的原形drink, children’s show在四、五年级也学过,所以本课的知识学生比较容易接收。教学本课时,我采用先做一做、说一说、答一答的方式复习前面所学的知识,帮助学生回忆和巩固。然后引导学生采用自主学习、教师引导的方式,帮助学生更好的理解和运用语言。最后在通过“我是小记者”的活动巩固和运用语言。

T: Listen and guess “How tall is it ” Ss: ... . T: It is 4.5 meters. Teach students two ways of expressing 4.5 meters. 2.Let’s think T:Where are they Present a picture of a museum. Let’s try T:Look, Miss White and the children are in the Dinosaur Museum. How many dinosaurs do you see What are they like Ss:... . 4.Listen and circle T: Now let’s listen and circle the right answers. Teacher plays the recording, students listen and circle the right answers. Then teacher asks two students to tell their answers. T: Now let’s listen and repeat. 5.Look and tick T: Now look carefully and tick “Which one is the second dinosaur ” Teacher leads students to learn tall-taller-tallest. Let’s talk T:Look! That’s the tallest dinosaur in this hall. How tall is it Let’s watch a short video and find out the answer. Watch and answer Teacher plays the short video for the students to watch carefully. T: Now let’s fill in the blanks. Next, look at the pictures and tell me how tall they are. Teacher leads students to learn to express heights. Watch and repeat Listen and repeat Fill in the blanks. Language points 通过短视频引入关键词—dinosaur,加上图片配合理解,让学生初步感知比较与差异。 引导学生观察图片,带着问题观看动画,整体感知文本,并通过图示帮助学生逐步理解和掌握重点单词和句子。 教师播放视频和录音,学生听录音跟读,使学生能够正确朗读课文,加深学生对课文的熟悉度及理解度。
Part 3: Let’s practice。 Step III:Let’s practice: 1.Choose the right answers T:Now let’s read and choose the right answers. 2.Complete the sentences. 3.Complete the sentences according to the table. 通过练习巩固本课时的学习重难点,根据表格信息填写句子可以训练学生解读信息的能力和用完整句子表达的能力。
Part 4: Summary。 Step V:Summary T:Now let’s summarize key words and key sentences we have learned this period. 总结本节课词汇和句型。
Part 5: Homework。 Step VI:Homework 1. Listen, read and try to recite the dialogue on P4. 2. Copy the key sentences for 3+1 and make your sentences. 通过布置作业巩固复习本节课单词以及句型。
板书设计: Unit 1 How tall are you 第二课时 dinosaur tall-taller-tallest hall That’s the tallest dinosaur in this hall. It’s taller than both of us together.
教学反思:本课时由看视频了解恐龙到听声音猜测恐龙种类入手,创设恐龙博物馆的情景,从恐龙的身高对比,引出形容词的tall的比较级及最高级,逐步过渡到恐龙与Zhang Peng及Mike的身高对比,最后通过调查同学身高进行比较等活动,让学生在运用中进一步感知比较与差异。本节课的学习内容在语句表达方面略显拗口,但是采用了任务型教学法,让学生在每一个环节都可以带着不同问题进行学习,不同环节注意的点不一样,通过这些练习可以帮助学生准确理解课文内容。
