一、课标解读
《英语课程标准》在一级学段目标中指出,学生能够有意识的通过模仿学习发音,大声跟读音视频材料,感知语言信息。内容中要求学生能够通过借助图片理解词汇意思;根据图片、实物、动画、声音等说出单词和短语,根据音、形、义学习词汇,体会词汇在语境中表达的意思,能根据简单的指令作出反应。在语言学习中发展思维,在思维中推进语言学习,学生能够有主动的参与语言实践活动,学会自我管理。
二、教材分析
What time is it 单元学习的主题是学习不同时间的表达及描述不同时间进行的日常活动。将话题定位在学生对时间的认知上,从感知时间的重要性,到如何合理把握时间、有效管理时间,引导学生成为学习和生活的主人。了解地球上不同时区在同一时刻的时间是不同的,培养学生严格的时间观念,养成守时守纪的好习惯。单元情景图通过展示世界地图,展示不同时区的不同时间,通过六个不同的场景对话呈现本单元要学习的核心词汇及句型。本课主要学习核心词汇music class, PE class, English class.breakfast, lunch, dinner,教材情景图通过张鹏和John的一天来呈现句型What time is it It's ...,It's time for ...来描述不同时间即将要做的活动,在情境中学生学习词汇,更有助于识记、理解与运用。
三、学情分析
本课的教学对象是四年级下册的学生,对英语有一定的基础。在A部分中Let’s talk中,学生已经能够听、说、认读句型:What time is it it's … o'clock. It's time for dinner了,也能够在情景中恰当运用句型What time is it It's ...询问时间并回答能够在情景中运用句型It's time for ...来描述“到该做某事的时候了”。同时在学生在三年级已经学习过—些数字、动词、学科类有关的单词,如one-twenty, drink, eat,jump,run,Chinese book,English book,等以及句型Let’s ….等为本单元话题的学习提供了一定的基础。因此在学习Let’s learn时,很容易运用句型来回答时间及即描述在不同时间将要做的事情或者活动。同时张鹏和John对话的呈现,可以引导学生在对话中学习Let’s learn的核心词汇music class, PE class, English class,breakfast, lunch, dinner。
四、教学目标
借助音频和录音及老师范读,学生能够正确听出并读出单词的读音:music class, PE class, English class,breakfast, lunch, dinner,做到发音清晰,语调正确,达成率85%;在游戏活动中、单词图片的帮助下,能够正确认出并读出单词。
能够借助句型What time is it It's ... o'clock.与同伴交流问答时间;能够运用It's time for ...以及核心单词来描述自己不同时间即将要做的活动。
学生能够初步树立时间观念,养成守时守纪的好习惯
五、学习重难点
重点:能够听、说、认读单词和短语“English class, music class, PE class, breakfast, lunch, dinner”。
难点:能够正确灵活运用句型“—What time is it —It’s…o’clock. It’s time for…”及所学词汇来描述不同时间即将要做的活动

七、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
1.播放英文歌曲《数字歌》
2.开火车说数字
教师引导学生边拍手边说1-20的数字,然后以开小火车的形式说数字。
设计意图:通过吟唱歌曲、开小火车的形式,由易到难,揭示新旧知识的关联。一方面可以回顾之前学过的数字,另一方面还可以活跃了课堂气氛,提高学习的兴趣,为接下来的课堂呈现做准备,同时也符合小学英语玩中学乐中学的教学理念。
Step2:Presentation
1. Present the picture to the class.
T: What time is it (课件出示:8点钟的时钟图片)
预设:Ss: It’s 8 o’clock.
T: What time is it (课件出示9点钟的时钟图片)
预设:Ss: It’s 9 o’clock.
设计意图:借助课件出示几点,创设情境,引导学生复习句型“—What time is it —It's…o'clock.”。该环节可以帮助学生回忆旧知,为接下来学习新词汇做铺垫。
2. Teach the words and the phrases. ②
(1) Teach the phrase “English class”.
Present the picture on the PPT. (课件出示:9点钟上英语课的图片).
T: It’s 9 o’clock. Look at this little picture. Who are they
预设:Ss: John and Miss White, his English teacher.
T: Yes! It’s time for English class.
The teacher plays the recording.
Students read the phrase after it. (出示课件)
Play the recording about the sentences. (出示课件);Write down the sentence structures on the blackboard. (students write down the phrase English class on the book)
Let students learn to say and practice them in pairs.(show)
(2) Teach the phrase “music class”.
Present the pictures on the PPT. (课件出示:2点钟的时钟图片和上音乐课的图片)

(3) Teach the phrase “PE class”.

3. Play a game:Who is faster
Each balloon has a word or a phrase under it. When the balloon appears, students say the word or the phrase as soon as possible. (出示课件)
Step3:Practice
1. Let’s practice.
Present the chart on the PPT. Let students practice the words and the phrases in pairs.
Ask six pairs to compete and give the best small red flag
2. Let’s do.
(1) Look and say.
Students look at the pictures in“Let’s do” and talk about them. (出示课件:Let’s do 的图片)

(2) Watch the video.
Students watch the video. Pay attention to the
pronunciation and the intonation. (课件出示:Let’s do相关视频)
(3) Let’s do.
Students act according to the instructions the teacher gives.
Step4:Extension
(1)活动一:教师利用课件呈现English class,music class,PE class, breakfast,lunch, dinner六个单词,五秒钟后消失,请学生说出刚才出现的单词。
活动二:师生讨论平时作息安排,例如:What time do you get up What time do you have breakfast What time do you have English class 等。学生用小组合作或个人展示等形式设计理想中的作息时间表。设计完成之后先在组内交流、然后全班交流,评选最佳作息表。
Step5:Summary and Homework
1. 做自我评估。(What do we have learn )
让学生们思考一下他们在这门课上学到了什么。然后鼓励几个人来总结。如果有必要,老师会给出更多的详细建议。
让我们看看哪个组是最好的(最好的组必须比其他任何组表现得更好和获得更多的分数)。
