Thinking ability(思维品质): ①Correctly use continuity verbs and practice oral English. ②Read and catch some detail information. Cultural awareness(文化意识): This lesson focuses on listening and speaking training, reviewing the vocabulary of some common items, understanding the willingness of idle items, and providing various places for handling old items such as second-hand markets and children's homes. It helps students find the correct way to handle second-hand items, thus correctly understanding the value of old items and the ways and methods of handling them, and improving the utilization of resources.
教学重点 Practice listening skills and oral English.
教学难点 The usage of continuity verbs in Present Prefect Tense.

导入新课 Revision Greeting each other. To show several pictures on the blackboard, students look and try to say their names. Teach some new words and expression. Read for remember. Greeting Free talk and learn some vocabulary. Review and teach new words.
讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 听力训练(Listening) Play the tapes for the first time for get the main idea. Play the tapes for the second time and get students to check the things Amy’s family are giving away and circle the things they are keeping. Check the answers together. Get students to read the incomplete sentences for get the main idea. Encourage students to fill in the blanks according to the listening. Play the tapes for the third time and check their answers together. Read after the tapes and explain the listening material in detail and teach the phrases. Show some questions on the blackboard, students read and try to answer them by using their own words. Explain the answers together Read after the tapes to correct pronunciation. 对话练习(Pair work) Get students to read the function sentences in the table and try to remember. Get students to make conversations with their partners. Ask several groups to show their works in front of the class. 角色扮演(Role play) To show the video about role play,students enjoy and get the main idea.
