Learning ability(学习能力): ①Learn to catch the topic sentences in each paragraph. ②Learn to find the reason of the things in reading. Thinking ability(思维品质): ①Can summary by using their own words. ②Learn to use mind map to review the passage. Cultural awareness(文化意识): In this lesson, the protagonist's family dealt with old objects and explained to the students the sources and reasons for their generation. It evokes memories of past times among students. Then, by solving emotional problems through various means, students are taught to handle their own things correctly, adjust their emotions, and be able to provide assistance to society to the best of their ability, cultivating a spirit of dedication.

讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 阅读训练(Reading) Pre-reading Get students to scan the whole passage and try to answer the questions on the blackboard in groups. Help students to analyze the purpose of these questions. To show a simple picture of the family members and answer the questions. Check the answers together. Reading Ask students to read the passage quickly and number the paragraphs. To show three statements on the blackboard.Get students to read and catch the meanings. Ask students to match the ideas with the paragraphs. Check the answers together. Ask students to read the first paragraph carefully and try to answer the questions on the blackboard. Explain the passage in detail and check the answers. Lead students to think about the moral character of this family by using some adjectives. Ask students to read the second and third paragraph carefully and try to draw a map about:person; things and how they felt at first. Explain the two passages in detail and finish the mind map. To give another form of the passage to compare the past and now situations of the things and feelings. To teach students:the old things is no need for them. Post-reading Read the questions in 3b and get the meanings. Get students to read the whole passage again and try to answer the questions in 3b.. Encourage students to answer the questions by using their own words. Check the answers one by one and try to underline some relative sentences in the passage. Ask students to find the words or phrases in the article which can be replaced with the ones in 4c and write them next to the words. Check the answers one by one and read them again for remember. 小结及情感教育(Summary&Emotion) To show a mind map of the passage for students to review and retell. Get students to talk in groups how we can make the old things useful again. Help students to think about the steps to have a yard sale. Scan and get the topic. Understand the characters and purpose. To read the passage and get the main idea of it.To finish some task. Review and learn some vocabularies. Review and learn some culture information. To introduce the topic and know the characters. Practice reading skills and learn the main idea of the passage. Review and practice. Summary and emotional education.
课堂小结 本节课通过主人公一家人处理旧物的事件,勾起了学生对过去时光的回忆。而后通过各种方式解决情感上的问题,教会学生正确处理自己的事物,摆正情绪并能够对社会提供力所能及的帮助。
