讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 讲授新课(Presentation) Lead students to read the sentences in Grammar Focus and try to get the meanings. Ask students try to underline the infinitives and phrasal verbs in each sentence. Explain to students the concept, basic structure, and role of infinitives in sentences. To show some sentences on the blackboard, ask student to find infinitives and try to point the acting as an element in a sentence. To show the usage of common verb phrases with infinitive as object and give a short sentences for example. List other example of using infinitives as other components in a sentence. Read this rules and sentences again for remember. Write down some incomplete sentences on the blackboard and give the Chinese meanings,students read and try to fill in the blanks in groups. Choose one group show their answers on the blackboard,others check and try to correct some mistakes. Read the sentences again for remember. 随堂练习(Exercise) Get students to read the phrases in the box in 4a and try to translate into Chinese. Read the incomplete sentences and try to predict what they may fill in. To give students several minutes to finish the task. Check the answers one by one and explain the sentence in detail.
