核心素养教学目标 Language ability(语言能力): ①Review phrases about housework. ②Summarize the usage of the modal verb 'could'. ③To finish some exercise. Learning ability(学习能力): ①Clarify the meanings of nouns and verbs. ②Be able to determine the part of speech of polysemous words in a sentence and apply them reasonably. Thinking ability(思维品质): ①Consolidate the sentence structure of politely making requests and seeking permission. ②Summarize the other uses of the modal verb could. Cultural awareness(文化意识): This lesson has briefly reviewed the key words and sentences in Section A, and consolidated the application of vocabulary in practical scenarios through systematic practice questions. Thus deriving the basic usage of the modal verb could. At the same time, compare other sentence structures, explore the rules of vocabulary usage in English sentences, and experience the differences between English sentence structures and Chinese expressions.

导入新课 Leading in Greeting each other. To show a short video for students to enjoy and listen. List some key words and try to sing along with the video. Greeting Enjoy and sing a song. Warming up.
讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 讲授新课(Presentation) To show a mess room by using a picture for students to look and list some housework it will be need. Lead students to say some sentence for ask some help or politely making requests.Write down and read for several times. Lead students to read the sentences in Grammar Focus and try to get the meanings. To divide them into two groups:Ask for permission & make polite requests. Explain “could” is used to politely request someone to do something. Lead students to make sentence and try to get the structure of answers . To show “could” is used to politely request permission from others to do something (seeking permission). Lead students to make sentences. Read these sentences again for remember. 随堂练习(Exercise) Get students to read the sentences in 4a and explain some difficult words and phrases for students to catch the meanings. To judge the usage which is request or permission Lead students to read the answers and try to match them with the questions. Check the answers together. To show other three sentences on the blackboard and get students to translate into Chinese. To explain the usage of “could” in each sentences. Ask students to read the conversation in 4b to catch the main idea. Give several minutes for students to fill in the blanks. To choose one group read and show their answers,others listen and check the answers. Read again for practice oral English. 小组活动( Group work) Have students to talk about the things they need in a picnic. Read the short dialogue for catch the topic . Ask students to finish the form by making dialogue with their partners. To choose several groups show their work in front of the class. 练习及总结( Practice& Summary) To show the some exercise on the blackboard and ask students to finish them. Check the answers one by one and explain the reasons. To summarize the grammar, phrases and words for students to read and remember. Make sentences and learn some language points.
