It was a cold winter morning. My twelve-year-old granddaughter, Jenny, sent me messages on the phone every hour, during her six-hour drive to the house in Virginia, the US.

A trader in a small town lost all his money. He decided to go to another town. He took all his things and prepared to leave. But there was an iron-weighing-balance (铁秤), he could not take it along with him. So he took it to his friend Steve to keep it for him till he got back.
