the usage of will
1. 除be going to之外,will也能构成一般将来时。
其构成为:“will+动词原形”
e.g. Relax! Everything will be OK.
别着急!一切都会好的。
Jenny will go to the party with her friends.
珍妮会和她的朋友们一起去参加聚会。
2. will构成一般将来时的句式变化
(1) 肯定句:主语 + will + 动词原形 + 其他.
一般将来时: will
e.g. Massage will help the pain.
按摩能减轻疼痛。
Reading will enlarge your vocabulary.
阅读能扩大词汇量。
(2) 否定句:主语 + will not/won’t + 动词原形 + 其他.
e.g. Your opinion will not affect my decision.
你的意见不会影响我的决定。
(3) 一般疑问句及其答语:Will + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他
肯定答语:Yes, 主语 + will.
否定答语:No, 主语 + won’t.
e.g. Will you pick up all your toys
把你的玩具都收起来好不好?
Yes, I will. / No, I won’t.
好的,我会收起来的。/ 不,我不会收起来的。
【拓展】
there be结构的一般将来时的句式变化
(1) 肯定句:There will be + 主语 + 其他.
e.g. There will be live entertainment at the party.
联欢会上将有现场表演节目。
(2) 否定句:There will not/won’t be + 主语 + 其他.
e.g. There won’t be too many people in the park.
公园里人不会多。
(3) 一般疑问句及其答语:Will there be + 主语 + 其他
肯定答语:Yes, there will.
否定答语:No, there won’t.
e.g. Will there be enough time for a bath
洗个澡时间还够吗?
Yes, there will. / No, there won’t.
是的,时间够。/ 不,时间不够。
注意:“be going to结构”与“will+动词原形”区分:
同:“be going to结构”与“will+动词原形”均可表示将来的情况,它们有时可以互换使用。
e.g. I am going to tell Lisa the answer.
= I will tell Lisa the answer.
异:①“be going to结构”表示将要发生的动作或安排,特别是打算、
计划、决定要做的事; “will+动词原形”常用来客观陈述将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态。
e.g. I’m going to buy a beautiful gift for my cousin on her birthday.
We will know the result tomorrow.
②“be going to结构”和“will+动词原形”均可表示“预见”, 但“be going to结构”强调现在已有迹象表明将要发生或即将发生某种情况; “will+动词原形”则带有说话人的主观态度和看法。
e.g. It has turned very cold. It’s going to snow.
