【考点1】so...that... 如此……以至于……
(1)so...that...意为“如此……以至于……”,引导结果状语从句。其常用结构有:
(2)so that 意为“以便;为的是”,引导目的状语从句,相当于in order that,从句中常使用can/could/may/should/would等情态动词。
(3)such...that...意为“如此……以至于……”,其句式结构为such(+a/an)+形容词+名词+that从句。

(1)look up指“(在词典、参考书中或通过电脑)查阅”,是“动词+副词”结构的短语。后跟名词作宾语时,名词可位于up之后,也可置于look与up之间;后跟代词作宾语时,代词只能置于look与up之间。
