知识点1．Just try your best.
考点：try one’s best尽某人最大的努力
等于do one’s best，后跟to do形式。one’s要随主语的变化而改变。
eg：I try my best to learn English.＝I _____ my best to learn English.
我尽我最大的努力学习英语。
例题：让我们尽最大的努力来帮助贫困地区的孩子们。

知识点2：People built them a long time ago.
考点：ago/ 'g /adv.以前
考向：辨析ago和before
时间段＋ago 表示“一段时间以前”，常用于一般过去时。 I bought a bike two days ago.我两天前买了一辆自行车。
before＋时间点 表示“在某具体的时间之前”，可用于一般现在时/一般过去时/一般将来时等时态。 He often gets to school before 7 o’clock.他经常在七点之前到校。 She was a nurse before 2010.2010年之前，她是一名护士。 I will call you before Friday.我会在周五之前给你打电话。
before 与ago 的用法口诀：
before 呆在点之前，ago 总在段之后。
before时态不确定，过去时中常用ago。
例题：Kevin will take a holiday to France the week after next.(用two weeks ago改写句子)

知识点3：They look like an ancient army.
考点1：look like 看起来像
考向：look like 和be like 的区别
look like: 意为“看起来像”，着重指外貌像。
be like 意为“像…一样”。重点表达人的性格、气质、品德的相像。
考点2：army与solder
army军队，集体名词，侧重整体时，谓语动词使用单数；侧重军队中的个人时，谓语动词使用复数
solder 士兵，可数名词。
eg. The solders in the army are fighting the other group.
军队中的士兵正在与另外一群人打仗。
知识点4：Well done.
考点：Well done. 干的好。 用于夸赞别人。同义句：Good job.
考向：情景交际中，Well done 、I hope so、I think so、I’m afraid not 的用法区别
Well done .干的好。 用于表示夸赞别人的行为。
I hope so. 我希望如此。 表示希望某事发生。
I think so. 我认为是的。 用于赞同别人的观点。
I’m afraid not. 我恐怕不能。 表示别人邀约时的否定回答。

知识点5：Can you tell us a little bit more, please？请你多告诉我们一点好吗？
考点1：more/m /adj.& pron. (many/much的比较级)更多，较多
eg：I have more books than you. 我的书比你的多。
部分双音节及多音节的形容词、副词前加more, 构成比较级，意为：“更……”。
如：often—more often famous—more famous quickly—more quickly
eg：Let’s work together to make our country more beautiful.
让我们一起努力让我们的国家变得更美。
例题：—Do you like eating fish, Wang Han
—Of course. Nothing could be ________， I think.

考点2：a little bit意为“一点儿”，当做副词使用，后可直接跟形容词。若当做量词使用，后跟名词比须加of（易错点）。
