technology n. 技术，表示抽象概念时，为不可数名词。表示“各种各样的技术”时，是可数名词，复数形式：technologies。

常用结构：invite sb. to do sth.邀请某人做某事。
invite sb. to+地点名词，意为“邀请某人去某地”。

more than 多于，超过
eg：More than one person made this suggestion.不止一个人提过这个建议。
more than 多于，超过，用在数词前，相当于over，其反义短语为less than。
eg：I’ve known him for more than twenty years.我认识他20多年了。
“more than＋名词”表示“不仅是；非但……尤其是”。
eg：He’s more than a speaker. He is a writer, too. 他不仅是一名演讲者。他还是一名作家。

Part IV 重点句子
I like to use the Internet to read about sports and technology.
use sth. to do sth. 意为“使用某物来做某事”。
eg: We often use our dictionaries to look up new words. 我们经常用词典来查新单词。
It has no keyboard or mouse, so it is easy to carry.
句子中的or意为“和”。在否定句中，连接两个并列成分用or；在肯定句中，用and。
eg：They don’t like French or Russian. 他们不喜欢法语和俄语。
I have two erasers and three rulers. 我有两块橡皮和三把尺子。
I like chatting with my friends online.
chat 作不及物动词, 意为“聊天”。chat with sb. 和某人聊天
eg：He likes chatting with outgoing people. 他喜欢和外向的人聊天。
chat作可数名词，意为“闲聊，闲谈”。
eg：We sit under the trees at lunchtime and have a good chat. 我们在午饭时间坐在树下畅聊。
