仔细观察标红的单词, 这些单词所代表的是什么呢?
指示代词
表示“这个”、“那个”、“这些”、“那些”等指示概念的词叫指示代词。
1. 指示代词用于介绍他人
介绍一个人时,常用This is/That is...;介绍多个人时,常用These are /Those are...。e.g.
That is Helen’s friend Jim.那是海伦的朋友吉姆。
Those are my cousins.那些是我的堂兄弟们。
2. 指示代词作主语的疑问句回答
在疑问句的答语中,常用it来代替问句中的 this/that,用they来代替问句中的these/those。e.g.
—Is this your basketball 这是你的篮球吗?
—Yes, it is.是的,它是。
—Are those your pencils 那些是你的铅笔吗?
—No, they aren’t.不,它们不是。
3. 电话用语
this, that也可用于打电话,this 代表自己,that 代表对方。
e.g.
—Hello! Is that John 喂!你是约翰吗?
—No, this is Lisa. 不,我是丽莎。
名词所有格(’s)
①主要表示人或动物等有生命的名词所有关系,一般在名词词尾加“’s”,意为“……的”。
e.g. mother’s birthday 妈妈的生日
②不以s或es结尾的复数名词,加“’s”;已有s,只加“’”。
e.g. Children’s Day 儿童节
the teachers’ office 教师办公室
③表示两人或多人共有时,只变化最后一个名词的词尾;如果为各自所有,各个名词的词尾都要变化。
e.g. A和B共同所有:Tom and Jim’s room
A和B各自所有:Tom’s and Jim’s rooms
④表示时间、距离、国家、地点等的名词所有格,在词尾加“’s”。
e.g. today’s work 今天的工作
⑤表示诊所、店铺或某人的家等地点名词,其名词所有格后的被修饰语常省略。
e.g. at Mr Brown’s (house) 在布莱恩先生家
